I’m driving on the parkway in the left hand lane passing a convoy of debris laden tree trucks with double trailers loaded to the hilt. I’m a little leery of the situation and was passing them doing about 12 MPH over the posted speed limit.

Lo and behold, I see this way post wall late fifties c~~~ with f~~~ing pink hair having a temper tantrum flashing her lights at me to speed up. I immediately slowed to match the speed of the trucks trapping her. She was pounding the steering wheel while I was laughing my ass off at her. I kept her trapped for about 2 miles. Her head was about to explode.

She finally got to where she could pass me on the right after the convoy exited. I blew my horn and gave her a friendly smile while waving at her. It looked like I p~~~ed her off even more as her scowl got worse.

Yeah, f~~~ you c~~~! This man gives women nothing especially rude ones.

Driving is one of the most dangerous things we do on a daily basis, people really need to understand this and pay more attention to the road.

This road is inherently dangerous. It’s curvy due to following the topography of an old river bed whereas all other roads are straight here.

I used to run my Miata very hard on it on Sunday mornings. I recently got lasered running 20 over, and the officer did nothing which is how bad it is as that is Super Speeder territory. People regularly drive 90 to 100 MPH on it.

The pink hair on that old bag was quite the sight. Feminists must think physics is suspended in their Safe Spaces. Logic is.

90-100 MPH sounds quite dangerous, especially curved roads. I never drive above 68 MPH (110 Km/t), and that’s strictly on Europa-ways. Ask Gargamel what this means, he might explain it better than me. Not to mention we don’t have anything like the Autobahn, were there’s literally no limit.

Yes, 90-100 MPH is a no trauma center needed for you speed. Our Interstates are very straight though so you can more safely run fast on those. I’ll top out at about 80 MPH on them on open road beyond that I consider it too risky.

Our standards for highway construction here in the US is much lower than Autobahn standards, some of our bridges and raised structures have frost heaves and settling that would send anything doing 120mph literally flying after completely collapsing and damaging the suspension, alignment, and exhaust system, if you’re gonna push it you really need to know the road like the back of your hand, plus given the season the frost heaves, (contraction and expansion) change position, what was a dip during summer becomes a hump during winter…

I can be a royal dick when people push my buttons wrong. I can go from general nice guy(normal) to total dick with the flick of a switch. I do fear getting shot at though.

Most of the times (and I speak only for myself), I’m not behaving like a dick. But it irritates me when I see other drivers who doesn’t use their directional light during intersections to show where they’re going. When you drive into a roundabout, and you see some asshat coming, turns without signalling, and you waste time when you could have entered and being on your way… They’re just f~~~ing lazy. Not to mention those switching lanes without signaling, it’s a recipe for disaster!

There are many of these people, who frankly, should never get behind the wheel, and I drive a lot during my work. I’ve seen a lot, including a bicyclist (pedalist) on a freaking highway (totally illegal!) were the speed limit is 90 Km/h (56 MPH). He was putting himself at risk, and there are flocks of these two-wheeled pedaling retards. They should be restricted to a tricycle….

So, is it any wonder I hum a sarcastic tune ridiculing such people? At least it cools my head when I see too much. And, I deliberately never speed over the limit as it would reflect bad on the company I work for (of course!).

I whole heartedly disagree. I do something similar to C-Pig quite frequently. People around here are of the belief that you can get right up on someone’s bumper in an effort to push them to go faster or get out of your way. That guy or girl is the dick.

Exactly! If I have to stop for whatever reason, we are both toast. The fact that your late isn’t a reason to put my life and property in jeopardy.

So yes, I will often take my foot off the gas, go a bit below the speed limit to encourage them to either back over or pass me. Holding it for 10-15 seconds usually does the trick. They either pass me up, or realize what they were doing and back off.

The last case…she wasn’t too bright. I did it once, and after I sped back up to my usual 5-10 over the speed limit, she was back on my bumper. The look of frustration on her face told me she was completely clueless. So I repeated the process for the next 5 miles or so, and she never figured it out.

I no, I won’t pull this stunt if my kids are in the car or if the other driver looks like a candidate for road rage.

Ok. Then do it.
