I fear I lost my looks. Not only am I thinning in the back of my head, but the scowl seems to be permanently embedded in my face. I’m not too proud to say I’m a vain person. Big deal. And I thought acne scars were my worst problem. But they are not. The worst problem I have his that scowl that is etched in my forehead and between my eyes! No wonder the wife is not attracted to me. Perhaps it is time to get something done. Has anyone had work done that helped them look better?

Embrace it, it won’t get any better, when my hair is thinning too much, I will simply shave it all off, don’t feel like paying insane amounts of money for vanity, nor put ass hair on my head.

The time spent on the hair, can now be used for some exercise instead, and you save more money, win-win.

dude, of  all the things you could call an issue in your life, your looks ain’t one of them. When your mind is right you won’t even think about trivial s~~~ like loosing your looks. My hair is going, and I’m slightly out of shape, think I give the first f~~~ about it? I’m getting healthier, and not sweating things I can do nothing about.

Life is too long to play by someone elses rules....

I’ll let you in on a little secret buddy… nobody gives a s~~~ how you look, especially the wife. Women don’t care about your looks. They care about your performance insofar as it benefits them, but your looks aren’t really relevant to them. What they really care about is what you can do for their benefit. That’s about as far as their concern for you goes…

If you have any doubts about the relative value women place on looks vs how a relationship with you can benefit them, then explain Mick Jagger’s sex life…?

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

    What da fuq?

@pz1$ — when I first read your post, I thought, “Troll alert.”  But in looking at your previous posts, I remembered your bad situation with the overbearing, got-you-by-the-b~~~~ wife.

Your statement, “No wonder the wife is not attracted to me” shows these feelings of inadequacy obviously stem from her.  I was hoping you would have moved on from her by now.

Those scowl lines are from putting up with the wife.  Best way to get rid of the lines is to get rid of her.   I know….easier said than done.  Go with what the others said, exercise is cheaper and more rewarding.  You need to trust us on this one.

BrainPilot you are so right! Women are attracted to achievers! Mick Jagger is a perfect example! Why can I never get this fact in my head?!! And men are supposed to be achievers! Time for me to keep working on this! Thank you for reminding me. And buy the way, I don’t think I’m that bad a looking guy. Just not as good as I used to be. But I think I still am okay for my age. lol

CPT thanks man! Yes, I have aged in the last 10 years since I have been married. I really have! It’s time to move on. And no, I’m not a troll. But I can see how you might worry about that. But I’m not. Thanks for the supportive words, man.

No worries, brother.  I feel for you.  In the last few years of my first marriage, people were getting worried because they saw the toll it was taking on me both emotionally and physically.  A bad marriage will quadruple the aging process.

Stay strong and go your own way.

Thanks CPT. She’s driving me crazy! I am giving her her desire and using my work less hours cleaning this s~~~ house. At first she said nothing. Then she congratulated me like a child. Then she said thank you. NOW SHE IS F~~~ING NAGGING THE S~~~ OUT OF ME BECAUSE SHE DOESN’T LIKE THE WAY I DID CERTAIN THINGS.

Mick Jagger is massively famous, in a glamorous line of work. That trumps all else when it comes to attracting women.

Among guys who aren’t famous, I think looks do matter a lot as far as attracting women. But then again, no matter how good you look, there will always be other guys who are more attractive. So “losing your looks” doesn’t create a new problem, it just adds to an existing problem. The best way to deal with it is to be able to do without women, and not be dependent on the ones you do manage to attract (I thought that’s why we’re all here?).

Good point there Burgundy. I myself have twice been there and done that (just for testing purposes really, because at some point I shall eventually shave my full head for good in a couple of years time presumably). Ok, it can be quite a radical move upon one’s appearance at the very first moment or for the very first time you ever do it surely (suffice to say it also always takes a bit of courage to just pull it through on one first day regardless), but I thought it was ever so amazing really, how quickly I got used to it (same as my environment plus my fellow peers) both times when I did it last year and the year before last (I usually did it in late spring for summer whilst growing some of it back for winter just like strictly a necessary “winter head fur coat” really and hardly anything more, he he he), and I am very likely to do it again for this year within the next few months, once the meteorological warmth and/or indeed heat might really kick in again for a while. It also has a few very significant positive money saving side effects ie.: no worries whatsoever about any hairdos or caring to wash your non existent hairs for a couple of days in a row (and that also means less expenses for shampoo hair gel and the likes not to mention hairdresser’s costs etc. either) just keep re-trimming your head yourself every 7-8 days or so (only takes about 20 minutes to do it each time). Maybe the only one drawback: now you’d have to regularly suncream your full head especially in the high summer season, whenever you’re heading outside, but then again also getting a full head tan in return, too…

So yeah, looking forward to spring and summer again anyway, gents…

Women don’t care about a man’s looks. Unless he’s in the top two percentile they don’t even see him.
What women actually look for in a man is a nice, big, turgid, pants filling. . . . . . wallet.

No wonder the wife is not attracted to me.

Of course not. She’s your wife. She thinks it’s her wallet now.

Good looking guys certainly do (and should) get laid for it. But good looking unemployed guys…? Maybe once or twice but there will be no staying power to that attraction without producing or providing something.

Marla Maples did not fall in love with Donald Trump for his looks.
Jerri Hall did not fall in love with Mick Jagger for his looks.
Bridgette Nielson did not fall in love with Sylvester Stallone for his looks.
Anna Nicole Smith did not fall in love with J Howard Marshall for his looks.
Monica Lewinsky did not fall in love with Bill Clinton for his looks.
Donna Rice did not fall in love with Gary Hart for his looks.
Robin Givens did not fall in love with Mike Tyson for his looks.
Heather Mills did not fall in love with Paul McCartney for his looks.
A dozen different porn stars did not fall in love with Tiger Woods for his looks.

Know what all these couples had in common? All these women were playboy material (except maybe Monica and Heather), and all these guys were very good producer/providers… They are not all famous. They are not all talented. They certainly are not all good looking. Marshall had only a few hairs and fewer teeth. Trump’s hair is a talk show joke. Mick Jagger’s face could scare a freight train down a dirt road. Yet, the two things they all have in common are that 1) they are good producer/providers of whatever those women wanted (money, bragging rights, ego or career boost), and 2) they have all banged these playboy centerfold material women.

Everyone one of those couples above appeared on the national news. It ain’t like any of this is a secret…

By the way, the last thing all those guys have in common? When those women got to a position where they had achieved whatever it was they came for, everyone of those guys got thrown under the bus, and paid dearly for it…

PZ1, I got those same lines on my forehead between my eyes. Know what I did that made me look better to women? I paid off a big ass house that clearly indicates to them that I make money…!

And as long as I live here, I could be a one eyed, club foot, pot belly, purple haired, toothless old hunchback and still be the man of some girl’s dreams…

The reason I don’t take advantage of that…is that I AM NOT GOING UNDER THAT F~~~ING BUS!

@pz1, My advice to you: let no day go by that you don’t either make money, or exert effort toward moving into a position where you can. Work at a job, or work at finding a job… every single day. Don’t do this to please your wife. Do this because it’s the only way to reliably take care of yourself in a world where no one else will.

Look, it's not my fault that tornado dropped a house on your sister. Now get back on your broom and get your ass out of here... and take your monkeys with you

Yes, honestly I also read this and my first reaction was troll alert.

pZ1$, I urge you not to give a f~~~ about what any broad thinks about your looks. Don’t give them that power over you and certainly don’t ever seek their validation or approval.

Hey guy. You shouldn’t be concerned about this. Take me. I was a typical guy that went to the gym and worked out with weights for years. I used to workout heavy. You know what that got me. I have a knee which I’ll eventually have to have surgery on and I’m lucky my back isn’t bad yet. Now I still go to the gym but I don’t workout as heavy anymore. I used to do it for to get women and have a edge that way. Long and behold the fact is most women will sleep with an ugly guy if he’s got money. So for me I still go to the gym but I ain’t killing myself to look good for them. It’s not worth it.

Boy, when I was a child I don’t remember my rough and tumble manual laborer uncles worrying about how he looked when he came home. He went inside and came out smelling like turpentine. And we ate with that odor-de-petroleum by products.

If his hands didn’t have paint on them we figured he loved us because he worked hard getting that paint off his hands.

So this is a new phenom. There is a movement. In my experience, this is a movement of older used by post-cougar types that are going around putting down men’s looks simply to be mean because no decent looking guys are willing to go out with them. Unless they get paid. These are usually women that got hot guys in their youth.

As they’re over the hill and down the dale, they are sour grapes and say that all men are ugly. Since they have no sex drive and divorce is a great financial more for women, don’t putting up with her abuse could mean divorce, but is a marriage like that really a marriage at all?

These women are new found man haters or just verbally abusive jealous hens.

JackReacher my entire life, my entire breathing hour, as been for the validation and approval from women! I remember when it started in 1st grade. No joke! It’s taken me all these years to see this tragic quest. I am very happy I have discovered this disorder from forums like this. I am so happy I am finally getting over it. Thank you all!
