Hi brothers. Lately I have been considering a vasectomy. I am 35 years old, single, never married or had children.I do however enjoy sex and I feel I would be less stressed during intercourse if I didn’t have to worry about getting someone pregnant. I doubt I will regret having it done as I have never had any desire to reproduce.

Would really appreciate if those of you who have gone through such a procedure could tell me your experiences.

I don’t see why men have to get mutilated because of women.

This i mean why should us guys have to become infertile even thou we could potentially regret it just for women? i know i would not go through with one but i can see the appeal of getting one. But personally i am just waiting for the male birth control pill to come out.

Sharp objects have no place near my dick.

Just an east coast asshole who likes to curse, If you get offended by words like fuck, cunt, shit, piss, bitch or any racial slurs then you just scroll down.

I don’t see why men have to get mutilated because of women.

Oh please. What do you need sperm for if not to give a baby to a woman? And even if you intend to spend the rest of your life with your dick in a silicone sleeve, you could STLL have your sperm stolen and used against you without even knowing it.

“Mutilated”. What an absurdly dramatic notion. Having a vasectomy is no more “mutilation” than a body piercing or a tattoo… far less of one… and far more meaningful because while externally visible body modifications are meant to clearly signify some edgy lifestyle decisions, a vasectomy invisibly *actualizes* total control over one’s own reproductive rights.

You may as well look at, say, homeowner’s insurance and say “I don’t see why men have to empty their wallets because of criminals”… and believe me, you’d much rather have your house robbed than be sperm jacked and find yourself on the hook for 18 years of child support.

Unless you want to give a woman a baby, refusing to have a vasectomy on the grounds that it’s a “self mutilation” is ridiculous and makes you sound like some sort of reliious nut-job… like you’re afraid St. Peter won’t let you into Heaven if your body isn’t whole and undamaged.

I can easily live without women. Apparently you still depend on women for something. You depend on women! Women have power over you. Oh and I think body piercings and tattoos are for losers. I only said that because you brought those up.

Do it. It’s the best decision you will ever make. Just make sure to document the f~~~ out of it because the paper is more important than the procedure. The first time you drop paper on some slore trying to pull an Oops! pregancy meal ticket bid on you will make it all worth it.

    I had one a year ago. I’m 55 not 35 so I’m
coming from the perspective of an older man. The brief pain is negligible when compared to the misery of 216 monthly payments to an ungrateful bitch who, with the blessing of the courts, will keep you and your child on her schedule.
Add to that you will be bound to the woman at some level just by virtue of being the “parent” aka sperm donor – for the rest of your life. Sounds to me like the 20 minute snip is a walk in the park comparatively.

Congratulations. Do you expect some sort of award or ribbon?

Oh please. I’m presuming a bit to answer for the Good Doctor, but I think I speak for a lot of men here when I say I can easily live without golf. However I do enjoy occasionally sinking a few shots. But if a simple medical procedure can prevent me from getting stuck for 216 mandatory monthly greens fees any time I hit a hole in one, why wouldn’t I have it done?

I can go without women. I can go without motorcycling. I can even go motorcycling without a helmet. But why should I have to?

GET IT!! This is one of the 10 best decisions I ever made in my life. After my second son was born, I waited one year and went to see Dr. Snips. Initially my wife didn’t like that I did it. Then about five years later she said it was the right decision … I knew it was right decision before I had it done. It costs a quarter of $1 million to raise a kid and pay for his college.

Physically, it was just a minor inconvenience, and well worth the $500 investment in my future.

Both of my sons followed my example, and got vasectomies before having any kids.

I don’t believe in empowering or emboldening women. You do. Most of you “MGTOW” are fakes. I agree with Snake. “What’s the best way I can be a MGHOW but still be with women and also not have to face any consequences for being with women?” MGTOW my ass. You want all the benefits of female companionship and none of the responsibilities. That is a lot like the feminist mentality. The feminist wants all the benefits of male companionship and none of the responsibilities.

Honestly, if I were having sex, I’d get a vasectomy. But as it is right now, I see no reason why I even should have sex much less waste my time investing in the “dating scene” trying to get it. I have more important and better things to do than waste my time with it.

Fleshlights and POV porn are the best alternatives to sex for me. I’d rather just f~~~ a fleshlight a few times during the night before I go to bed and clean it out afterwards.

Once you have a Fleshlight real vaginas become worthless.

If you are pretty sure you don’t want children then get one. They are reversible these days.

I’m 36 and have my two kids so I will be scheduling mine soon. Free of charge with my insurance. Why risk it you know?

When I was still in the online dating life so many women actually got visibly angry when I told them I would be having it done soon. Like literally upset. “How dare you cut off the sperm?” Lol. I loved it.

Ahem… @bobphilo Women enjoy sex as much as men do, so yeah, sex delivers pleasure to both parties, except if you’re hiring an escort; in that case she’s getting paid for blowing you even if she doesn’t ‘want’ to.

Female companionship cannot be exchanged without offering up male companionship, don’t you think?

I’m thinking of getting one as well. I don’t have any kids and don’t want them either. I’d rather just look after me and have the finances to do what I want to do.

Also, I’ve heard about women spermjacking the jizz out of condoms and getting pregnant with it. Turdflinging monkey mentioned it. He advised to flush a used condom down the toilet and put horseradish into another condom after sex so if she tries to spermjack it then she’s in for a surprise!

I love hearing false pregnancy stories getting blown out the water when men have had the snip!

    Well that escalated quickly.

It’s a few days of discomfort for a lifetime of freedom. It also has the added benefit of severely p~~~ing the majority of women off.

It’s your body and your choice, you obviously don’t want kids, so do what you feel is right.

If you are not sure about it, at least put some sailors on the freeze if you can afford it.
I got snipped less than 12 months ago and had none frozen, but at 50 I hardly think I want to go through
    fatherhood again, good or bad.
    Your choice, really.

Seems like you got the information you needed with these posts, but if you think the decision is right for you and you don’t want children in the future then go for it bud. Otherwise like others have stated there are legal liabilities for whatever happens to your sperm once it exits your body.

It’s cheap, safe and effective but it doesn’t protect you from STD’s.
