Anonymous38Beta, sigma, alpha…. sound like gay labels.
I don’t go by the labels. Honestly, my response is just some general health and wellness advice from a reformed fatass.
Fair enough. This stuff can help some men. But I’m wary of it, for some men it becomes a honey-do list of things they need to fix about themselves. NFG.
I am going to have to learn to act like a beta…
Im 47.
I work for a major corperation.
I feel trapped in my cubical.
My wife left me for chad.My T levels are too low, and I cant seem to lose any wieght.
How was that guys!!
HajajjWill you all be nice to me now????
i said more sigma, you are what you want to be, hard labels don’t really apply to people since we often change based on circumstances and hobbies. It’s all up to you if you want to increase the overall quality of your life, i am not saying be like this i am saying be more like this, absorb what works from any walk of life that can improve your own. haha
Thanks for these steps. I feel like they are well tailored to me.
you welcome.
Omega-3. Correct. Most people don’t get this in their diets, and it’s good brain fuel. But don’t neglect also getting more fats in general–they’re excellent for brain function. I recommend adding a couple tablespoons of coconut oil to foods you were going to eat anyway. You mostly can’t taste it, and the fats make whatever you’re eating taste better. YMMV.
Music. That’s just personal preference. It is my experience that the more naturally intellectual tend to gravitate to instrumental music, but this is not a hard and fast rule. I’ve known a high-functioning autistic who listened to death metal almost exclusively–you might think it’s negative, but it’s compositionally complex.
Exercise. Correct. Most people do not get enough of it. More importantly though is regularly moving. Exercising doesn’t do much for you if you’re still sitting on your fat ass most of the day. You want to mix fat breaking, fat burning, and cardio. Starting with some high-tension stretching, leading into things like burpees and get-ups, and then engaging long chains of muscle in activities like dead lifts form the core of my training regimen, followed by a 2- or 4-mile run.
Water. Correct. Most people don’t get enough water. It doesn’t have to be spring water–your body isn’t that picky. But it should be filtered to remove sediment and hard metals, and ideally does not come in a plastic bottle (even BPA-free plastics apparently have estrogenic properties on their contents).
Sleep. Probably correct, but this also varies on the individual. I’m highly functional on 6.
Meditation. Personal preference. I did meditation for awhile, and I get more utility out of what I consider to be an active meditation–it’s just unstructured time during my cooldown from daily training.
A couple additional things:
Reduce carbohydrate intake significantly. Your body metabolizes this like sugar and it really has no value in your diet. Exception: leafy greens and fresh vegetables are technically carbohydrates, but they’re so dense in fibers that your body mostly can’t digest the carbs. You’ll still get a wide range of vitamins and minerals from these greens.
Thank you for not only researching what i said but you also added upon what i said, lots of fats are good fats and they do work with the brain yes, but omega 3 from fish is highly soluble so you will in no time feel the benefits my blood pressure is 117 over 80, stopped smoking and i don’t drink past the occasional beer. we all could embrace some change in the habits.
If you reread what i said about music, i said that music seems to not apply to all people equally, but if you are depressed maybe listening to depressing s~~~ will not help you that much if you know what i mean. thank you for the advice on the veggies we all could use more of those.
F~~~ing hell sounds like hard work. I was much happier when I gave up trying to completely change myself. I stick to the generally good and avoid the generally bad. I’ll admit your approach works for some though.
Works for everyone and your approach is not bad you should continue doing what works for you, This thread is not tailored to you if you don’t have problems or you don’t think you need to improve yourself in anyway or the way life feels.
Beta, sigma, alpha…. sound like gay labels.
I’m alpha as f~~~ in some aspects, sigma and beta in others. Is your classification a self classification or how others classify you? Why do you give a f~~~? I don’t. Just another stupid way for men to compete.
Labels are in fact gay and i don’t like using them because people change with time just like pretty much everything in this world does, Labels are hard set in stone while people are not, I mention these such labels as a way to make my point a bit more clear, we all know generally what a beta is and what’s an alpha, we have our own opinions but overall they are based on the general notion that we can agree with.
The Title of this thread reads “How to be more sigma thanks to change of habits” i did not say Become a sigma or you are a pathetic looser, i did not say become a sigma because you don’t have a choice if you want to think of yourselves as MGTOW.
Being more like something that could be a better way to handle life there’s nothing wrong with that, many people have personalities or habits from each trait, but one usually stands out more than the others.
I actually apply mostly the NO F~~~S GIVEN attitude for most of my life as well, again we all have our own situations to work with.
Anonymous54I just think people should just be themselves.
( exept BS. He should be..Anybody else)Just be the best version of yourself you can be.
Anonymous54You do occasionally make a good point inbetween your tuna hunts.
I make good points all the time.
I dont need 10 paragraphs to say it.
Its just a matter of witch part of my stuff one choses to see.
Fair enough. This stuff can help some men. But I’m wary of it, for some men it becomes a honey-do list of things they need to fix about themselves. NFG.
It’s a “honey-do” list for about 90 days, and then it’s a habit that you don’t think about. It requires minimal effort to maintain, even if like me you live in the middle of nowhere and have to plan trips for basic things like groceries.
Cupcakes are Cold. MGTOW is Absolute Zero.
“Let us wait a little; when your enemy is executing a false movement, never interrupt him” –Napoleon Bonaparte, 1805Fair enough. This stuff can help some men. But I’m wary of it, for some men it becomes a honey-do list of things they need to fix about themselves. NFG.

It really is just a minor shift into how you do things and what things you can do to increase your human experience by feeling good and doing good health wise, Obviously there are men who have what works for them and they never want to change it and there are others out there looking for improvement, for the latter this thread was aimed at, be more of what you want to be, happy and not relying on validation from c~~~ licking manginas or those whores you see out there. By doing even one of the things i mentioned you will feel better, and then it becomes a question of, how much better can i be?, how much better can i feel?.

If it’s helping men I take my hat off to you. Some men would do well to heed my words as well, personally when I try to run my life by some kind of list I start to feel like a hamster in a wheel. But I’m not everyone.
