I am agnostic, My grandparents were religious, but I believe that religious books were written and thought of by humans alone.

ALL modern religions have become so distorted. I believe they ALL shared a very similar original message, until generations upon generations injected their own 2 cents.

A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.

” Man will never be truly free until the last King has been strangled with the entrails of the last priest ”

That’s how I define myself religously. A bunch of medieval fairy tale nonsense that has always been used to control stupid people and has no place in modern society, and that goes for all of them.

Direct connection, no man or principality stands between me and my God.

I’m independent and not entrusting of organized religion.

They still support holly matrimony molested by the state, they praise, adore, respect, and obey the state, even at their own peril. In goes happy couple and out comes woman and robot drone, and under tyrannical directives and intensives to enslave him all the days of his life alone and segreigated from the fold.

They can believe it or not, accept it or not, but they do the bidding and dirty work for the prince of darkness.

The lawful binding of church and state serves Satan and mocks god and his commandments.

The church has one foot in hell and the other on a banana peel.

The government is already there and leading the way…

That’s the good thing about death, at the end we all belong to death.

Even the gods will fall to death.

    I recently learnt of Transhumanism.
That probably fits better than anything else.

I believe there is truth in Christian scriptures though I feel the church is hopelessly compromised.
I believe there is truth in Buddhism though I don’t necessarily agree with his conclusions.
Zen Buddhism in particular spoke to myself and I meditated upon koan intensively.
Carl Gustav Jung spoke of Allchemy as a system of archetypes and I also found meaning in it.
In particular the visions of Zosimus spoke to myself as like him I too witnessed a supernova.

My ex gave me her future address a few weeks ago the area code is 666 .

My Tax demands are 666 a month, one house, under construction! Plus penalty and interest! They can have the ashes!

No bank to foreclose and throw me out to save the government’s best interest and F~~~ the man that INVESTED EVERYTHING and his labor! These houses I own will remain tax delinquent with not another dime for the bankers working with the government to evict a man from his property and auction it to the highest bidder.

What’s that tell ya! I’m hearing the voice of Satan louder and louder every single day coming out the mouths of BANKERS AND GOVERNMENT! They make a fortune recycling property in such a tyrannical way!

The trust is dust, give them ashes and a hammer and tell them to GET TO F~~~ING WORK! BUILD YOUR OWN SLAVE EMPIRE!

    Buddhist, non denominational.

No, it’s not like all other religions. It’s founder firmly stated “I am not a god”.

He wasn’t to be worshipped, or prayed to. He was just a guy who broke free of the matrix by sheer force of will.

Buddha was the first MGTOW, IMHO.

His teachings, as compared to other monotheistic religions, would be like comparing theoretical physics with a 1st grade math lesson. There’s no spoon fed “this is good so this is bad, mm’kay?”

It’s really more of a philosophy than a religion, as it doesn’t obsess over gods, heaven’s, hells or the afterlife. It focuses on the here and now.

Budda is my atheist side religion, it’s a practice in common sense, no fanaticism like in so many religions, dare not question the church authority and the evil things they do in the name of righteousness, just sit there and allow them to spoon feed you PIG S~~~!

    I want to expand so?

To my mind the development of creative intelligence is the evolutionary lesson of human existence.
It is in this sense that the creator is “GOD” to me.

I don’t believe in some pie in the sky god.
If one exists great, if not? It matters not at all.
But I consider that in an infinite eternal universe the ultimate form of being would always exist somewhere.

I don’t believe in big bang theory it smacks of flat earth thinking to my mind and both the expansion of space and the CMB perfectly fit according to Newtons third law the consequence of Black holes being a perfect equal opposite to them.

Creative intelligence has been our constant benefactor and saviour.
No pie in the sky god is going to save anyone.
    Why would it?
Creative intelligence has given us the tools to overcome our problems even where we are those problems.
If we choose not to then f~~~ us.

So I am a Trans humanist, an Alchemist a Buddhist and a believer in “GOD” of sorts.

    “Reality Proponent”

I find your topic interesting. In the Canadian military, you weren’t even allowed to have “Atheist” put on your dog tags. Instead, Atheist dog tags were stamped “NO RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE”. Implying that being Atheist really means that you just can’t make up your mind. What bulls~~~… 😡

The reason I chose to believe that most books are a lie and a mean of control, is because they have the politics of that particular time written all over them.
The easiest way to make people follow the law was by saying that God declared it, nowadays people demand proof for everything, so you can’t make up some divine law.

I do believe in God, however, I do believe in much of what many Philosophers say:
    1. Do you honestly believe that the Lord needs your prays?
    2. God doesn’t change according to people’s whim

I also would like to add , that religions are against men going their own way, nothing implies freedom in any of them, they are very demanding and most of them also demand that you have wife and kids.

I had NRE on my dog tags from 1981 until I retired, and I continue with that description.
    No Religious Exhibitions.
So during “church parades” I worked.
During “forced prayers” I lowered my head and was silent.
During Remembrance Day, I bowed my head and silently thanked the fallen in my own words.

I bow to no man/woman/thing that wears a dress and tries to control me through religion.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it
