They never ‘settle down’ with a beta.

Eh. I do want to believe in forgiveness, to leave the past behind, and that people are capable of change. However, I’m not thinking that’s really the issue here.

I’m assuming BF did not know about GF’s past when he met her, and that she gave him no reason to think she was like that in the past. He either found out from someone else, or she told him once she felt he was significantly hooked. She probably told him while balling her eyes out, trying to appear as a victim of her past. This is where I think the problem lies.

If he knew he had a whore past from the start, he could have handled it appropriately. Either do not engage, do not engage emotionally, or take a lot longer to trust. If trusted her immediately knowing her past…shame on him.

But he didn’t know at first. She let him get hooked before he could make a wise chose. That’s where I blame her.

And he can forgive her that, but he should never forget. Maybe she will be faithful to him as far as sex goes, but she has proven that she can’t be trusted.

And no, not that she needed to tell him immediately, but it is deceiving to represent yourself as someone you are not.
