The part that hurts the most is that I like the original song and the original singer a lot. These women today hearing that song? I have bad news. Your heroes have left. A knight is reluctant to fight a dragon for a lady who would lay waste to him afterwards. Fortunately ladies, there is another pop song that you should hear that will give you some answers as to how we men are feeling these days. Here it is.

So they go around bars complaining they have not found a real man? Till the end of the video when a moderately attractive man refuses the beer a woman offers him. This commercial was written so more women buy the product. Women want a mangina who makes a lot of money who treats them like a princess. But at the same time they desire the alpha male jerk who does not care about them gives them little to no money (eykis 101 don’t spend more then 40$ on a date 0$ is best) and can simply move on with his life without her. This is simply a shamming ad for men on how we are all drunks with a bunch of women wanting to find prince william only to cheat on william with chad.

I always read that women comprise 80% or more of the consumer spending worldwide (which to me equals debt for some reason). Hence the pandering to women shoppers.
However, it makes me wonder if they (advertisers, business, etc) take into account how much money is actually being lost due to men reducing and/or controlling their own spending due to the incessant degrading and devaluing men in advertising, which in turn pushes potential purchasers (men) away from their products, further reducing their markets.
Maybe it’s just me, however, due solely to the marketing strategies of several companies, I no longer purchase their products NOR enter certain stores.
As an example, Tide detergent/ cleaning products. The commercials play to demographics I don’t belong to, nor identify with, however openly insult the demographic I do belong to, so to my understanding, my business is obviously not desired, so I switch to generic/other brands, store, and venues.
I have done this with a multitude of products/services/companies. For me it is even easier if the product is not a REAL necessity.
I don’t believe that I am the only man that thinks this way. As it stands now, I have more disposable income available for whimsical and frivolous items than ever.
It just begs the question “how much more profit could these companies have made, if they would have marketed towards men in a more favourable fashion”.My apologies for the long winded version of “I am not buying this s~~~ anymore”

I remember working in the Middle East back in 2003-2004 and I had the Heineken experience. I seriously wanted to die from the hang-over. Rubbish beer!
Heineken also sponsors soccer games from England where fans love to drink heavily before, during and after games. The last thing they need to see is male drinkers depicted as lushes and losers. Dumb ad placement.

Anonymous3I don’t watch much television, but I have been watching some recent sporting events and have seen this commercial a couple of times. I actually laughed. And the sports I watch I generally watch on stream with a chat room open for the streaming site. I cracked some jokes about it and other men responded with the same mocking of the commercial.
Actually, now that I think about it, there are seemingly never any women or white knights in these un-moderated chat rooms. So it’s anything goes hilariousness most of the time. I’d probably watch less if the chat rooms didn’t also amuse me so much.
Anyway the commercial is awful for all the reasons you gents state. But since I had seen this thread for awhile on here I sort of had an inkling what it’d be, so I wasn’t as annoyed as I otherwise would have been. And honestly, all the Bud Light and Coors commercials are even worse anyway. “Drink our crappy beer and get laid, if you don’t you’re a looooooooser!!!!”
American commercials are across the board horrendous. I prefer the Canadian streams, and I much prefer the British streams on top of that. They have their drawbacks too but nothing as bad as American marketing. The best I’d ever seen was the Russian streams, they seemed to be the least tolerant of nonsense.
That singing made my ears bleed.

The drunken, passed out guys are the so called blue pillers / manginas. They prefer to drink p~~~ until unconsciousness rather than dealing with their female “significant others”
The “ladies” are angry and demanding a hero (the moderate drinker)…
The moderate drinker, the HERO, is a MGTOW. He knows his limits, has good taste, and rejects the one offered by the female bartender. He avoids being drunk and all the possible rape charges,false parenthood cases, drama, and STDs coming from the “ladies” demanding a hero
