Yeah man, that sounds like a pussy ass gym. You gotta steer clear of those types of gyms. The only good gym is one that has absolutely no policy about deadlifting as much weight as you want, banging the weights on the ground, grunting, all that fun stuff. I could never work out in a gym that stifles that manly stuff.

you will never make any gains in a gym like the one you talked about. You need a more hardcore gym where you can f~~~ing smash a loaded barbell onto the floor without anyone batting an eye.

Women are parasites. Each and every last one of them.

Even if I could afford the enormous costs of gym memberships, their policies are f~~~ing s~~~. It’s like those gyms are TRYING to turn their place into a f~~~ing socializing cafe instead of a place where you’re actually serious about working out.

That’s ABSOLUTELY what they’re doing. Think about it: All the people who fail and take 6 months in between workouts are passive income. Most gyms have memberships multiple times their actual capacity, but they can do it because people won’t show up. That’s why they put so much emphasis on the classes and cardio: People generally HATE classes and cardio, but they force themselves to do it because they honestly believe it’s the only way to burn fat.

When I have enough money saved up I plan on making my own home gym. Commercial gyms especially, f~~~ing suck.

Amen. There’s such a long list of reasons I could give, but at the end of the day, it really comes down to “no one is in your way except you”.

I am glad that I found and read this. I was about to start looking, in the new area that I moved too. I enjoyed the gyms in the military, but this sounds like it would be nothing short of a nightmare. Time to look at some home equipment.

I wouldn’t set foot in a big, commercial gym.

Fortunately we have a small gym in the apartment building. No one ever uses it, except me.
