All people who worship police and think they’re the force of good and can do no harm need to watch police brutality compilations on youtube to get a perspective.

Police is nothing but a network of very well organized gangs – a crime syndicate, licensed by the government for their own purposes.

Expect trouble every time you interact with them. No trouble? – consider yourself lucky

He could have kept his seat by lying and saying he was transgendered.

Then to avoid a discrimination lawsuit, they would have grabbed the next guy that wasn’t part of a protected group.

Something is not quite right with this story.

This made the news on Canadian radio but I still don’t think that we’re getting the whole story. One guy was saying that when he and his wife were bumped because of an over-booking, they were loaded on the very next flight first class at no extra charge…

Yes, they offer all kinds of free vouchers for over booking. some frequent flyers love that s~~~. I have literally seen a dozen people try to scramble to claim them in this type of situation.

Ok, I just saw a news piece on it with more info.
Those were outsourced security guards, though they are apparently called Chicago aviation police. Those were not Chicago PD officers, as was the case when I was involved with the aviation industry.

Police enforce laws, security guards work for the airlines or airport and enforce rules and policies etc. Basically they do what the people in authority tell them, unlike police officers who are restricted to enforcing laws.

The passenger interviewed even said if they offered the vouchers there were plenty of people who would have volunteered but they didn’t.

United f~~~ed up big time. They will be sued and they will lose. Same with the security company that the guards work for. Disgraceful that they handled it this way.
