Hi all,
at first apologies for my broken english but since it is not my native language I ask you to accept it.
Let me introduce myself. I am over 50 years old Finnish man. I’ve been living relatively good life here, “in the heaven of equality”.
About a year ago my almost 30-year marriage was over. It was not me who decided to leave. The breaking of marriage was such a blow that recovery is still going on. I do not want to go in deeper, there would be mountains of suitable stuff to be posted here.
Being a mgtow nowadays I have come up an idea to rebuild myself by taking a half-year “pilgrimage” around the globe. And here you more experienced brothers come into question.
I would like to have your suggestions what to go and to see before it is time to leave all this. I am interested in origins of human settlements, architecture, art and the like. I have on my drafted list turist hotspots like Macchu Picchu, The Great Pyramid of Giza etc.
I started planning this a year ago and now it seems that I might be able to hit the road on 2017.
So, if you could suggest me what to see globally I’d be glad.
Brothers, Sincerely yours
Aslak
Welcome brother!
Aslak,
There are several war museums, I cannot exactly remember, in Europe that are very interesting.
http://www.traveller.com.au/six-moving-war-memorials-including-the-menin-gate-and-australian-war-memorial-gjj685I am not sure if there are underground tours of the catacombs of Paris, that would be something interesting to see.
A tranquil mind is neither happy nor sad, it is uninfluenced by external conditions.
Welcome bro . Glad you found freedom to enjoy ya travels .
If ya come down under watch out for kangaroos
THE PLANTATION HAS NOW TURNED INTO THE KILLING FIELDS . WOMAN ARE NOW ROLLING CAMBODIAN STYLE .
My condolences, bud. I’m also new here, but welcome to the site.

That comment has a sarcastic undertone. Things have been well here but are getting worse. Europe in general is going to collapse.
This has been a meritocracy – for example door to almost free education is open to all. But only if you can pass the entrance test. Despite the fact that most of the state-funded equality organizations are occupied by indoctrinated feminists some positive development can be seen.
Men in general don’t give a f~~~ about about feminists whining about injustices, they just ignore it.Aslak

Haha, better keep that in mind. Australia is very interesting continent, might even have a peek.

Anonymous42Hi all,

Apologies not necessary, sorry for my broken Sch’andinavian.
Velcome!
Here in the USA there’s allot of natural wonders bigger than life itself.
Tour New England in Autumn to see the largest variety of northern tree and plant spices on earth changing colors, some years are better than others depending if we get winds that strip the foliage, a calm Autumn produces sights and scenes that dazzle the eyes like no place else.
Central and South America Mayan ruins, very impressive engineering and lines in massive stone work that are perfectly straight, here in New England we have plantation stone walls the litter the forests from a time long ago when as far as the eye could see it was once all plantations, now dense forest. Here was the first successful European colony to survive in the North America.
Anyway the walls here are cleared stone from the fields of yesterday, the Mayan stone walls are made of cut stone and run for miles in a perfectly straight lines, it’s like they were obsessed with straight level lines, and the people are friendly for the most part.
Grand Canyon
You’ll know what it’s like to realize we’re very small.
If you want to see lots of modern ruins, check out Detroit Michigan from the the back seat of a taxi, then get the f~~~ out before dark!
Welcome, brother!

Welcome.
I have travelled a lot and believe it or not you have not really lived until you have gone to India and face the challenge of a thousand s~~~s in one day – like I do from time to time.
PS Haha Tower you always crack me up. That was classic
welcome.
you are in a great position when you can travel the world.
New York City is incredible,
if you have the money to enjoy it.
lots of museums and great sky-scraper buildings.
also crime and corruption.
lots of free thinking people,
and lots of liberal assholes.
a real mix of everything..we call it the capital of the world.
not too sure it really is though.
enjoy your travels brother !Welcome Aslak! I know you aren’t a Viking but this would be cool. It’s where European Caucasians first visited North America on fishing routes. Welcome to the forums man.

Greetings Aslak,
You have stumbled into a Gold Mine!
Keep digging into the Forums and study the Archives.
It would be best to know more about you before giving travel tips.
Here are some suggestions for your Introduction:
Do not give out any information about yourself that will enable our Great Enemy to identify you.
I am going to ask you some questions that you are not required to answer.
The reason I am asking is because I want you to think about what is waiting for you down the MGTOW road.
Too many men, especially myself, who have spent their time as Blue Pill slaves have had no lives during that time outside their marriage and/ or relationS~~~S.
Blue Pill men generally have few hobbies, friends, future goals, and interests on the Plantation because all of a man’s resources, including mental/ time, are used up serving his adult child woman and HER children.
Do you like cultural things like music, dance, song, and food? What is your education/ training?
What kind of work have you done?
Have you been living in the city, suburbs, or rural areas?
What are some hobbies that you would like to explore?
What kind of fun things do YOU do?
What are your plans for the future?
Most of my details and stories have been posted here over the past year. You can read them by going to my profile page and clicking the Forums tab.
The sunsets on the West Coast of Ireland have been burned into my memory as the most beautiful I can remember. The Hawaiian ones are a close second.
I like Botanical Gardens and National Forests. It is always good to find a local Botanist and have them give a tour whenever I travel.
Q Gardens in England is considered by every Botanist I know to be the best Botanical Garden in the world. The one in Berlin gets great reviews too.
I often enjoy the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, in spite of “the Troubles” in that town. I try to avoid the SJW and BLM establishments near the Gardens and stay away from Ferguson. The alternative location for the Garden is about fifty miles out of St. Louis near Eureka and is mostly wild flowers and natural prairies. Both of them are wonderful and have been run by the Father of Botany in the USA, Peter Raven.
The National Forests in Brown County Indiana and the Folks who live around there are my new favorites and I try to go there as much as possible these days.
The American Northwest and Northern Idaho in particular was amazing. Yellowstone National Park is definitely worth seeing.
I have been told that the Beer is so pure, fresh, and biodynamic in Latvia that German’s will travel there to drink. One day I will get there and find out if the reports are true.
What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
Anonymous1Welcome, Brother!
You can try Indonesia. It’s the home to almost 300 ethnic groups and up to 700 languages. If you’re trying to find cultural or sociological relics, it mostly centered on Java (especially middle Java) and Bali, which recorded its Hindu heritage long before Indonesia was turned into the largest Islamic country.
Thank you for proposal. I have read about this, never visited. Might be worth of considering.

Brother, thank you for your approach to my question. Here are some answers:
Yeah, I like culture but as I am an introvert I like only to observe. I don’t like to take part.I am so called creative professional, hassling with buildings.
I’ve involved in designing buildings, planning projects, construction managing etc.
I’ve lived in the countryside as a kid, small town as a teen and in metropoliltan area as an adult.
I’ve has a wide spectrum of hobbies; playing guitar, sailing, canoeing, fly-fishing, hunting – the dearest hobbies are related to nature. But this is not what I am primarily looking for.
I like the joy of discovery. I get a lot of peace of mind from wandering in unspoilt nature.
Now I am lookin for “the lost myself” and my lost direction. This is the very reason I plan the whole trip. At the moment I am frozen, unable to decide, I’ve lost my direction. I am looking for jost joy. I don’t actually very well know what I am looking for.
