I agree with Sidecar and Tic – the site really does need a few sensible moderators with limited privileges. Trolls and malicious or illegal posts need to be stopped without delay.

I would counsel against multiple dislikes as a means of closing down a poster. That could lead to a lynch mob mentality.

Hello Keymaster! AND Good Morning.

It has been some time since you posted here! Things were getting really BAD here with certain members trolling, insulting, and spamming your website. I believe this is really you so I need to ask:
Why if you plan on such a long absence didn’t you establish at least 2-3 moderators to keep the peace here? Some trolls here were doing everything they possibly could to destroy this site. Conspiracy theories were abound. Some thought WOMEN had stolen account titles and were posting in their stead.
A lot of people have left and some should STAY GONE in my opinion. All they created here was angst! Some have chosen to stay and help promote the concept of MGTOW. Still others didn’t care;they just left the site to it’s own demise.

Another website has been created,(The Indepentent Man.org.), and a few from there have been known to foment Gargamels schenanigans here. When I got flamed with insult by Gargamel,(as many others did), it proved to me that he was going “psycho” over the matter that this site was taken over by Gov’t “Mr Smiths” <— from the movie Matrix.

At any rate: It is good to see you back again, the “Rumors” can now be put to rest.

We have already planned this anyway. On Wednesday, I will log in as a “non-admin moderator” and see what privs the role has. They may have “too much power”. Meaning . . . . deleting a thread (or posts) would not be as effective as, say, making a troll a “spectator”. Changing the role temporarily may be better.
A button would be available on every profile. If ,say, 10 assigned members click that button, the member is now a spectator until moderation can be done. I’ll figure something out by Wednesday afternoon. I’ll post a thread on this then.

I disagree.

We care about this site because of its tremendous value. If, unfortunately, it were to close down, I would go on with my life. Everyone would. But it would be a shame if other men who need to heal to not have this place. It would be a terrible loss in my opinion.

From what I see, most members here are already fossilized…meaning, their heart has turned to stone in regards to emotional attachment to women and they ll be just fine with or without this place.

It was unsettling not knowing what happened to KM or who was still running the site. There was a lot of malicious activity going on without anyone being able to control it. I was mostly concerned about members being doxxed. The trust in the site was gone…
