I was hauling an empty cylindrical 550 gallon fuel tank in the middle lane, a cop used his loud speaker to tell me to move over, because of the tank all the sound from his loud speaker reflected back blocking us out completely, we didn’t hear a thing! At the same time I was stepping on it to pick up some more speed, then the blues came on and I immediately pulled over, I was ticketed for having a trailer in anything but the slow lane and could only use the center lane to pass and restricted from using the fast lane at all, as if it was a carpool lane. That’s why I just hang back and use the blinker to indicate I want to get by, never tailgating and “pushing”, I learned to drive using a tow truck when I was 16.5 and licensed to drive, I learned that trucks react slower, you can kill someone getting pushy with a truck hauling a car with obviously no brakes, at least trailers have brakes!
