Made this post to share our goals for 2016.

    My goals are to:

    1. Get a better paying job

    2. Get a Ps4 and GTA 5

    3. Exercise everyday

    4. Improve my programming skills

    5. Read more, and try to cut out TV altogether

    6. Avoid feminazi media to the best of my ability

    7. Get a car, or at the very least, a good mountain bike

    8. Keep avoiding women to the best of my ability

    SELL MORTIMER SELL!!!
My goal is to downsize and continue simplifying my life as much as possible.
All the material s~~~ I got rid of has freed me up from taking care of it! The only thing I regretted is selling is my guitar, (74 Gibson SG)
I got rid of my S~~~ BOX FORD plow truck! I replaced it by rebuilding a Gravely tractor with 42” PTO shaft driven 2 stage snowblower (I’m much happier). I still have (literately) tons of s~~~ to sell. (years)
I’m becoming addicted to the whole off grid concept! I’m actually enjoying processing my own firewood. Oil tanks are full and staying that way!
Life is good gentlemen, don’t ever tell yourself otherwise!

“1. Get a better paying job”

I hope you have a plan

    “2. Get a Ps4 and GTA 5”

Man, I actually think that it is worth getting a ps4 just for gta 5 alone. I played it on the ps3 and that game is just awsome. I am sure you can put many hours into the single player game and you can also play online too.

    “3. Exercise everyday”

Even if you put in like a 30 minute brisk walk a day, that alone can make you burn at least 100 calories which can go towards weight loss and feeling good.

    “4. Improve my programming skills”

I am sure there are many study guides and youtube videos that can help you do this.

“5. Read more, and try to cut out TV altogether”

At least watch tv for the news to see what’s going on in this world. If not, subscribe to a newspaper for the news instead maybe if you really want to read more.

“6. Avoid feminazi media to the best of my ability”

    No complaining there.

“7. Get a car, or at the very least, a good mountain bike”

I would say that you should invest in a mountain bike to help you with your daily exercise. Besides, a car can be a money sink with car insurance and repairs and stuff..

“8. Keep avoiding women to the best of my ability”

    Well good luck.

I’d actually love to live off grid. The only thing is, I don’t know if I could live without internet. Well, I could, but would I want to? Probably not. At least not until cut it out of my life for at least a month. But otherwise, I love the concept of going off grid. In the future, I might build a solar farm out in the south west somewhere.

I’m thinking about investing in a mountain bike rather than a car. The insurance rates are so stupid it makes me wanna vomit. To make things worse, insurance rates are higher for younger guys. Not to mention the maintenance and repair. Or just the general upkeep and storing it.

I just use Google news. And even that’s getting to be annoying. I don’t like to watch the news because it’s full of feminist/tradcon propaganda.

    Employment.

I have four degrees. Two in accounting, one in engineering. We’ll see how this goes.

    Anthony:

When I turned 30 I was looking at buying a sports car. I was told by my insurance agent that I was in the highest risk category for insurance. I asked her to indulge me for a minute. My conversation:

“When I was 16 and just got my license I was in the highest risk category. Then when I turned 18 and was out on my own, that was the highest risk category. Until I turned 21 and was old enough to legally get drunk and get behind the wheel, and THEN I was in the highest risk category. Until I turned 25 and wasn’t married, and then THAT was the highest risk category. Until now, when I turned 30, and despite never having an accident, I am in the highest risk category. Who are the f~~~ing idiots my age that can’t drive a car?”

Moral of the story, you are ALWAYS in the highest risk category for car insurance…

    My goals:
1 Try again to get that job at Best Buy that I was offered back in June but lost because I missed the call and didn’t know they called until I checked a few days later.
    2 Or find any job
3 Start my computer assembly business and sell custom built computers on eBay for major profit
    4 Lose weight
    5 Stay clear of women
6 Go back to my websites and continue where I left off building it last year. I took a year off.
7 Keep trying at the $5,000 a week for life scratch lottery. I won $100 on a $10 ticket back in November, so a miracle could happen.
8 Download the remaining games onto my PS3 from the PSN that I still have on disk. Resident Evil 0 remaster comes out in January. So I’ll be downloading Resident Evil and Tomb Raider and other PS1 games to my PS3. I prefer all my games stored on the PS3 so I don’t have to store games in my room taking up room. I did the same thing with all my movies and TV series. I took my entire DVD collection, ripped them to the PC, converted them to MP4s, put them onto a flash drive, plus the flash drive to my Blu-ray player and I can watch my entire collection from the flash drive. Saved a ton of space in my room. I mean why have a large pile up of DVDs and blu-rays when you can have it all on a device the size of your finger?

    I am easy.
    Err..
    I mean easy to please.
Make it through another year alive, reasonably healthy, still somewhat sane, and closer to buying my lil piece of this little green and blue ball of relative nothingness in the vastness of space and time.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

Agreed. I can guarantee you though men are at the hghest risk for car insurers. They’re biased against men. I can also guarantee you that women can get cheaper insurance anytime as long as they have a clean driving record. And even then, I bet they can get it at a fraction of what men can get it.

I left the insurance company I dealt with since I was 16, when I turned 40. According to them I was “due” for an accident, so they doubled my premium.
The new insurance company has lowered my premiums annually for the last 11 years, They understand certificates that say PDIC, Driver trainer, driver instructor, driver tester, SBC, SRB, load safety/management, safety supervisor. accident investigation, 35 years accident free, etc.

    @anthony
Do what makes you happy, Automobile or bicycle doesn’t matter. As more people turn to peddling, I’ll bet you a preserved turquoise frog with bugs bunny pajamas, that registration and insurance will be in the cards for that too.
Paying for something that makes yourself happy, is infinitely more self satisfying than what paying for someone else is.
    Just my 2 cents though

My big aim is to push my fitness as far as I can. In 2015 I hiked 900 miles in two months and reduced my half marathon time to 1:48. In 2016 I aim to get it down to 1:45 and run a full marathon in April in less than 4 hours. Then in the Autumn I am going to run 3 marathons in 3 days for charity. I do like to push myself.
    And I’m 52.
