I sleep as much as I can. Right now, I sleep from about 12midnight-11am, wake up for 6 or 7 hours and go back to sleep.

So I tend to sleep for 16-18 hours a day. I’ve been really tired lately, and not sure why.

Easiest thing to try is bumping up your b vitamins, vitamin d3, magnesium, and if you dont eat a lot of meat, potentially iron.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

    Are you joking?
If not: What do you do for living?

Oversleeping is very bad for you.

During the week (Mo-Sa) I sleep 5-6 hours.
Sundays I try to get 8-10 hours.

Hell, I can’t get more than 5-6, even on the weekend. I just wake up and can’t get back to sleep.

If you snore, consider sleep studies to rule out obstructive sleep apnea.

    Some medications inhibit rem sleep.

If you want some good sleep. Start out with the right diet for you. I often start my days off with half a dozen eggs, a set of push ups and sit ups. I think starting the day off in a way that’s right for you, contributes to a good sleep.

My experience as a life-long sufferer of insomnia is that you need a good night’s sleep and that napping, whilst better than nothing, is a poor substitute. I speak as a guy who can get by on 2-5 hours’ sleep a day and had to for years. Frankly, it is a strange type of Twilight Zone I would not wish on anyone.

Sleep is not something you can “hack”. Your body is designed to operate according to a certain daily cycle, which is governed by the melatonin levels in your brain, which in turn are governed by the sunshine hours your body experiences. The amount of sleep we require varies for individuals from 6 to 8 hours a day. Some are early to bed, early to rise, some people are not. Some people can get by on less; some need much more – both are statistical outliers. Unfortunately, we live in a productivity-driven culture where it is seen as desirable to cut down on sleep in order to make more stuff (=> money), and those who can sleep short hours have a tendency to trumpet it as a great achievement which all can emulate.

The best book I have read on this topic is:
The Promise of Sleep : A Pioneer in Sleep Medicine Explores the Vital Connection Between Health, Happiness, and a Good Night’s Sleep.

The author, William C. Dement, goes into the subject in-depth and castigates Americans for deluding themselves, on the basis of Taylorism, that they can do without sleep in the name of productivity. One of the tragic outcomes of this is the number of people who fall asleep at the wheel on US roads. On a more mundane level, although people who cut their sleep hours tend to feel more “perky” because their brains are fighting their somnolent bodies for control, their overall productivity and connectedness to the real world tends to be a lot lower.

Dear all, dear men and MGTOW’s,

I hope you are all well.
Leo the wise here : giving to all men their needed uprise.
I released a video this week about one of big and crucial aspects of our daily lives : Sleep. Nobody speaks about it and yet it’s quite a huge chunk of time that’s spend on it. From 8 to 6 hours …even less.

Hacking your sleep will allow you as a MGTOW to go beyond and free up more time by doing several short naps during the day instead of a huge long sleep block of 8 hours. With a strong discipline and dedication during adaptation, you may reach 4 or even 2 hours a day in total of sleep.

On top of this shown video :
I would like to recommend 2 books I red that are quite detailed on these matters.

“Why we nap” by Claude Stampi

“Ubersleep: Nap-Based Sleep Schedules and the Polyphasic Lifestyle” by Puredoxyk

The first one is theoritical with lab studies about how people behave when they lack sleep, based on their age, type of activities, type of sleeping schedule… Measured performances etc.

The second one is more practical and easier to read. Someone who practiced polyphasic sleeping and explains most of what you need to know about it.

What do you think about this, did you try this way of sleeping ? What is your feedback ?

thanks for the next comments, have a nice day all

I only sleep 3-6 hours a day. Sometimes Im lucky to get 8 or 12 hours.

What people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle. Rise above. Focus on science.

I am not joking, no. Right now I’ve had a change in work, so I do online marketing.

That can be a sign of being depressed
Mabey from the lack of sunlight.

Perhaps. I feel like I’m working at 10% of my brain power when I AM awake, don’t feel like going out, and try not to leave the house as much as possible, since I’d rather be asleep.

Easiest thing to try is bumping up your b vitamins, vitamin d3, magnesium, and if you dont eat a lot of meat, potentially iron.

I’ll try it, but right now I don’t really see it as much of a problem. I just don’t feel like doing anything.

The lack of Sunlight this time of year can be a problem for some.

If you can will yourself to go out for walk, get some fresh air and exersise, it could help.

Anti depresints can be very helpful.

Ask your Doctor what he thinks.

This is why I love the sacred plant, aka marijuana. I sleep amazingly well. It also helps numb the pain of being a retail drone, but I digress.
