It is quite true that we should never discuss politics and religion. It is one of the most critical rules of “ghost philosophy”.

On the other hand, this is not any place. This is MGTOW!
As KM says, we (and maybe only we) are men enough to separate people from their ideas or words.

Therefore I do not agree this thread is divisive. It only shows we are not the same! Divisions of opinion already exist. Are we to be united by the ignorance of each other?

Yes, Buddhism is atheistic but they believe in a universal ethic AND an afterlife.

Blade’s topic on F~~~ ISLAM lists all sorts of evil done by muslims. Atheism justifies these behaviors because there is no God and no after life and no accountability. Therefore, all is permissible. Those who are the most powerful can do whatever they want.

You know what.. your dad was pretty much like mine. I still clearly remember when my parents actually wanted to give me a drive to the airport at 4am, so I could make the flight to the USA. That was a long time ago though.. like about 11 years ago.

But my dad told me ‘Never discuss politics with anyone’ before I left. That is a very valid comment. Knowing how people are in CA, you can’t discuss politics there with anyone anyway. They’re all f~~~ing liberal POS as far as I’m concerned.

Well, I don’t know about that, I don’t believe that Scientologists are going to be whisked away in a spaceship one day either, why is it my responsibility to prove it to be not true? I am able to sit here, go my own way, and not believe in any of it, for how am I do prove something doesn’t exist when it is impossible to prove that it does exist? A clever trap at best by those with religion.

Look, fact of the matter is, I am not going to change someone’s mind who has religion, and I am cool with most people who have religion, as long as they are still able to think objectively. Hitman is a fine example of a man with religion who is capable of this, Ron Paul would be another. Tommi, I know you are pretty damn close as well, as I see you speak up against s~~~ often, regardless of religion, in fact, we are always on the same page.

Either way, we are going to have to agree to disagree on this one I suppose.
