Every time I hear a man getting married in this day and age, I just can’t help but laugh at them. Even for a blue pill man, you’d have to be insane on blue pills to get married in this day and age.

I’ve written this time and time again, you either assimilate into the mainstream or you have to ghost. You don’t become MGTOW for social acceptance and to be popular. You don’t even really become MGTOW. It’s something you ARE or are not.

If you like to think for yourself, like to read knowledge of ages past, and are okay with having a lot of solitude, then MGTOW will work. If you NEED social acceptance, and to have people agree with you and think like you, then MGTOW is probably the stupidest thing you could possibly do. Nowadays we have websites like this so we can actually communicate with other MGTOW, but still in your real life you are mostly surrounded by regular, “normal” people and that’s just how it is.

I’m not even sure MGTOW is really possible for young people. Too many of you are plugged into social media and care too much what everyone thinks and can’t just be happy with yourself and your own thoughts. Maybe that goes with age, there was no social media when I was young but I was also quite social and used to talk to lots of different people all the time. It wasn’t until I got older and stopped trying to be “normal” and just unplugged from everything that I could finally have true peace. It’s a jarring sensation and a tough transition. Perhaps impossible until you get a bit older and are fed up with the mainstream enough, and have already experienced pretty much everything it has to offer anyway.

The only thing I wanted to do before I found this site was f~~~ as many women as possible, but after about a year of reading these forums, I don’t even feel the need to do that.

And as far as solitude is concerned, I love being alone. Or at the very least, I prefer to hang out with dogs. They’re better company to be around than most people.

@experienced. Perhaps it’s your browser. We know it’s not a permissions thing because we tested it as you. The latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari are tested and work. You can also just keep this block of code on a notepad, replace the image address and paste it in to any post….

I remember being 17 and in the car with my mother on the way into the city for some kind of an appointment. It was raining and we were in unbelievable traffic. I said “I never want to be these people”. She said “what do you mean?”

… and I just verbalized everything about that didn’t make any SENSE to me. Right there, I decided I would never do it.

…. and she thought I was the f~~~ing devil. She tried everything to lock me down over the years. It worked on my brother and he STILL lives within 8 minutes from her. He lived at home till he was 25 and married his 3rd girlfriend. He wakes up at 5:30 and journeys into work for 15 hours a week. Half of his home life (when he’s not working) takes place on the phone in his car.

He really is “a wallet” and a utility.

I swear to god that looks EXACTLY like his neighborhood, that’s his life, complete with the 2 daughters being chauffeur driven around like a couple of princess Kardashians.

Before my 19th birthday I started my working life in another country. We have had totally opposite lives. I truly “went my own way” and nobody ever celebrated or approved of my life choices and decisions. EVER.

I took a weekend off work to drive out and attend my brother’s wedding though. Later when his wife popped their 1st kid, I was in Rio(!) South America and when I returned home, I got GRIEF BECAUSE I DIDN’T SEND HER FLOWERS ON THAT DAY.

Punished for not sending flowers from South America.

I said “you married her. YOU have to listen to her , give her flowers and do whatever she wants and expects. I DON’T”. This caused such an upset in my family we didn’t speak for 4 years. Even when I reached my hand out at Christmas. I was never going to cave and apologize for that. Everyone expected me to apologize for that, and I refused. REFUSED.

GYOW doesn’t need to mean “going your own way” because you still have to blend and function in life, work, have friends, family and all of that. But you do NOT have to accept social cues from other people or accept the reality and way of life that is forced down your throat.

Even early in life, it was just not swallowing the S~~~ I was being fed.

Young guys can’t go against the grain TOO much because that’s bad for them too. But they definitely need to be aware and reject — to at least a certain extent – the system that CLEARLY exists to exploit and harm them.

You sound like me. I don’t do any of that frat/clubbing/partying stuff. I’m not interested in swinger culture, or any of its spinoffs.

I don’t get people my age(~25), their mentality is not compatible with mine and alot of things they do, or are into are just plain stupid.

These days I prefer to be by myself and do my own thing.

I never got that. People are willing to live in Mcmansions they paid more than $500,000 dollars to live in for at least another 20 years of their life, right next to their jobs, but they spend 2 or more hours in traffic to get to a boring ass typical job with no real hope of even getting promoted.

I’d rather live my life as a single man exploring the world, learning new things, while doing jobs that are exciting to me.

Not to mention you can go out and join the military when you’re 18 but can’t even rent a car until you’re 25 years old. Or smoke marijuana in legal states. This is one of the most fundamental and simple things in “society” that I am certain is DELIBERATELY DESIGNED to harm and trap young people.

At 16 you’re not ready to drive car. Period. It’s not a discussion. 18 AT THE MINIMUM. Because at 16, you’re not even an adult who pays for your own mistakes.

A 5 year spread between getting a license and drinking is like the government wants to bust you for a DUI and irresponsible behavior — as a MINOR!

BOOM!! you’re life is f~~~ing over before it has begun.
… for a mistake that you were practically ENCOURAGED to make.

And don’t get me started on the scam of student loans. A young person today is actually encouraged to begin their life in the hole, as a slave.

To all of that, I smile, hold up a fist, and slowly uncurl my middle finger. It’s so wrong. And if you explain this to a young person, they understand! When they beg you for a license to drive, you can explain to them the REAL dangers of this, and they will understand.

You can SCARE THEM RIGHT OUT OF IT. Because it’s truly terrifying.
