    I know of cases where men have just bailed out of the country due to the ex-wife, alienating the kids from the Dad (he doesn’t get to see them for years, if at all). He’s just gone “see ya” and lived in another land where the Government can’t mess with him and his finances!

    Some reason that come to mind for not leaving;

    • Non liquid assets
    • Kids
    • Family
    • Massive debt
    • Employment
    • Superannuation
    • Friends

    The Child Support Agency in Australia are ruthless along with their legislative powers!

    I consider the extremely rich or poor can only afford a Divorce. It is the middle income earner that can’t afford it. I know a friend who is 57 years of age and has just recovered from his 1st Divorce…wait for it!!!!

    he’s just got engaged and his “love” is pussy whipping him already!!!  would make baby Jesus cry 🙁

    Poor guy.  Soon as I hit a point in life when my finances were in good order it just became one more reason for me not to marry.  At 57 if he’s married for 5 years or whatever and it doesn’t work out he has pretty much put himself in a situation where he worked his whole life to hand over his money to women, and now he’s stuck being broke and having a minimal retirement.

    Living in the same house with a nagging wife eats your spirit and drains your mind and body until you’re just a fraction of what you used to be. If she cannot live by the principles set out by you and doesn’t cater to your wellbeing, dump her like the trash she really is. Your health and wealth will thank you for ridding your life of her bitter presence.
