What have you planned for the weekend?If I can get my lazy ass to the store after work today, I plan to buy a chicken and make chicken and noodles, a popular American dish, at least around this area. Probably not even something you’ve ever eaten. Instead of boiling it in water, I boil the whole chicken in premade chicken broth. Then when done, remove all meat from the bones and set aside. I bring the broth back up to boiling and boil the noodles until tender, then add the chicken back in and continue cooking until it becomes thick. The only seasoning I use is maybe just some garlic powder, salt and pepper. It’s awesome by itself, but even better if served over mashed potatoes with a buttered hot roll.
Maybe clean some guns. I’ve cleaned them all but one rifle and one handgun.
Sunday night will be dedicated to a football game. I’m not really a big fan, but when the nearby Kansas City Chiefs are playing, I always try to watch and they are doing very well this year.
I’m getting caught up at work, so I may take Monday off and make it a three day weekend.

Who cares…I couldn’t care less. That place is depressing. Even when Keymaster was here you could practically do anything and not get banned. Sparky was trying to get banned by saying s~~~ like he was gonna’ f~~~ his daughters or some repugnant s~~~ like that and he didn’t get banned. I understand the need for law and order, but they go way overboard at that other site.

I actually enjoy cleaning the guns, other than the smell of the solvent. It’s kind of relaxing to disassemble clean and reassemble guns. I’d rather clean a gun than clean the damn shower. That’s more of a chore.
F~~~in’ Brad already told you the state in which I live. Guess you didn’t believe him? Also the other day you said something about where I live smells like swamp and tumbleweeds and I said, “That’s what we all like living here in _____.” Back when I was young on this site, someone asked me where I lived and I gave it away in my introduction. There you go. You now know almost exactly where I live. You happy now?

I spent the last 1.5 hours helping a homeless man. F~~~ing humble pie until I mentioned it LOL. Bought him a big sit down lunch and then fixed his motorcycle for free. It didn’t need anything but a quart of oil and a valve stem so I didnt lose much in parts. Just gave away a little labor so another man can get by.
He’s headed back to sleep under a tree in a park tonight. Poor bastard. There’s a shelter that would take him in but he doesn’t trust the riff-raff street people not to jack with his only asset, a motor-scooter. So he chose his life. Last year he got handed 10K (a parent passed away). He s~~~ through all that money and never got his life back together. Should of got a job f~~~er, my charity only extends so far.
He wanted to sell me the bike so he could get into the shelter. Tough call, either sell your only asset for half its value and gain shelter and food for the short term future…or… sleep in the f~~~ing cold and wet, starving to death but keep the asset…

He choose to continue on in a hopeless state which is weird because he isn’t a drunk and he is not retarded either (most bums are). That is the only reason I helped him because he was clearly sober and not crazy… Im only out $40 and an hour of labor, he is the idiot sleeping in the f~~~ing cold rain tonight.

If he had $10,000.00 and f~~~ed it away, instead of using that to improve his lifestyle, I wouldn’t help him at all. He could’ve at least got some clothes and a place to stay, maybe even a cheap vehicle and got a job. He p~~~ed away a good opportunity to help himself. He’s made his choice.

Yea I’ll take a stew over a soup any day. I need substance in my portions, not just runny-nothing-soup.
Im one of those idiots who avoids charity at all costs. But when I do help someone, Im too generous. That’s why I usually never help anyone. Im very selective. Same thing with pets, like you were saying, I respect and care about animals too much to own one.
That guy had a real shot last year at getting back on his feet from being homeless. He’s sober and lucid and should have gotten a damn mediocre job. If you can make $16,000 a year, you can get by, I know it! Its not much and its hard but its possible to live alone and eat; Ive seen it done.
He started out last April with a brand new motorscooter, $10k and every opportunity to get back to a reasonable status. (not rich but at least eating regular and warm in bed). Instead, it sounds like he p~~~ed the money away at some lease- by- the- week motel type of scam. And instead of gaining employment and running a balanced budget, he continued to sell food stamps and do f~~~ all. so now he’s f~~~ed. I doubt he will ever get that type of chance again.
But I wasn’t about to make it worse for him by BUYING his scooter off him for pennies on the dollar. I wanted to. And he wanted me to too. But once he loses that, that will be a definite turning point that will catalyst into his demise. I will not initiate it. Instead, I fixed his flat tire with only a valve stem and and some tools, filled his belly with real food, lectured him about changing his oil (it was bone dry, he’s lucky no metal gravel came out the drain plug or I would have bought the bike for $100 and told him to f~~~ off).
What I did was, I bought him some time. Maybe a week. I didnt give him cash or anything. I just got him out of my hair. I was going to buy it off him but he doesn’t have the title to it. Title is being held by his older brother in Michigan. Without title, I aint buying s~~~. Plus, buying that bike is like stealing candy from a baby, worse actually. He wants someone to help him with his misery by letting him ditch the only f~~~ing thing of value he has. I wont do it. My conscious is worth more than a margin.
