As a veteran I can say that stoicism is a defining characteristic of the warrior mindset. A lot of the walking wounded fall into the margins quite easily. The VA is a joke for the most part, getting them to do so much as pick up the phone is at times a monumental task. I have learned to overcome my failings and insecurities in due time. The things I learned were my journey, and I wouldn’t change any of it. Acceptance is a powerful thing, it is a key element in all that we do.

Life is too long to play by someone elses rules....

I mentioned this video to a number of the military guys at my work this morning, believe it or not most of them had already seen it.

I was surprised during the discussion just how acutely aware of the dangers of PTSD and what can befall them when they finally do discharge from the Army. Anyway I also got to drop a red pill or two which was great.

It is so interesting that many really popular and successful musicians write about mgtow issues or behavior, and then the stories get told, and then no one really listens.  Tragedy.  Yet we soldier on:  “you saved me and I will save you, Brother”

If anyone else comes across a song/video that tells this kind of story of Brotherhood, please post here, I would love to see.
