When I was a kid girls had nothing to do with computer games and to be honest they probably hate them anyway…..just because it’s another ‘men thing’ that they can try to ruin.

Haha….I looked at it again and felt it was unbecoming to laugh at people like that…. I dunno…..I sometimes remember that I call myself a Christian and perhaps Christians shouldn’t say things like that…

Yeah, sometimes you lose some good comedy opportunities…..

But that lip-gut thing looks like the man eating plant from little shop of horrors… it’s all rather macabre and it’s rather a sad state of affairs that you get women who actually look like that nowadays…. back in the past they’d rightly be in a travelling freak circus where people with a fascination with the macabre and unnatural could view them at their own discretion… now the freaks walk amongst us.

Was that unchristian? I can’t really tell sometimes.

Ah bollocks…These older games don’t work very well at all on new machines. I’m annoyed Steam sell them broken/a pain in the ass to operate.

I played only 15 mins of Call of Cthulhu, really got into it, and it kept crashing. Plus the save function wouldn’t work…(Everyone else on the forums complained of exact same thing, guess i should of read it before buying).

Loom’s voice narration is completely out of sync with the animation and the music is f~~~ed.

Indiana Jones starts up as a tiny little box which you have to enlarge, no original music and sound fx, graphics aren’t the right ones apaprently and theres no save function.

I don’t get it. Why sell the games like this?

I’m a noob and never used SCUMMVM before. FFS. Such a pain in the ass to play a game like this.

If you right-click on the exe-file, you can edit the compatibility-mode, say run under ‘Win98’, to run the game. It allows the user to run older games that can’t run properly on Win7/8 systems. Not sure if that’ll help you, but it’s worth a try.

(an example)

C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life 2

Right-click on the game exe-file, and on the second tab should be the compatibility-mode. Check to see which operating system the game were made for (on Steam) and choose that one.
