To the OP:
1. Get a DNA test. Do your own, but make sure you purchase one that is accepted by the courts in your State.

2. If you were married when she conceived, you are considered the presumptive father, unless you can demonstrate otherwise.

3. If you hold yourself out to the father, without knowing…even if you find out later you’re not…you can be on the hook for child support.

4. Be very very careful…the courts and the state are not your friend here. They will do everything they can to ensure that someone other than the state pays for your ex’s decision.
