The most quintessential MGHOW I’ve ever met died today. His story has inspired me for a long time so I wanted to share it.
He was born in the Yukon in the 1930’s, his father was unknown so he was raised by his mother in a little house 3 days walk from the nearest sign of civilization. Around age 12 he got sick of his mom’s B.S. so he packed his s~~~ and left.
He survived in the wilderness, wandering South through polar tundra, mountains, and forests until eventually coming across the CPR railroad. He didn’t know what it was, of course, so he just followed it, eventually becoming the classic train hobo until getting various jobs in remote places; jobs like lumberjack and sailor.
He would talk about these days often, as the best time of his life. Free to go anywhere, do anything, and not give a f~~~. Need money? Get a job. Tired of working? F~~~ it, just leave.
It was all ruined by a woman. She got knocked up before he could escape, so he did the usual thing and married her. Over the next few decades, she poisoned his soul and made life a living hell. They stopped sharing a bedroom only 5 years into their marriage, and stayed together only out of obligation. He supported their family by himself, while she was content to let him.
Behind closed doors, he would always tell men to stay away from marriage, don’t get trapped like he did. “Don’t ever get married. Go live in a whore house, instead” (actual quote). He was a miserable (but hilarious) old curmudgeon for most of his life, always talking about the adventures he wished he were having.
Eventually in their late 70’s, they divorced because his health was declining and she didn’t want to have to take care of him. She took everything from him of course.
A curious thing happened here. His smile got brighter, he started looking and acting younger. He became the horny old bastard in the nursing home that hit on all the nurses, joyously making up for lost time. He survived countless heart attacks and strokes until eventually giving in today.
R.I.P. Grandpa.
I’ve always thought we were eerily similar, personality-wise. So watching his life always felt like a very vivid warning of what could happen if I’m not careful. I hope you’ll take something from it too. No glove, no love.
may god give him rest brother , sorry for your loss .
With respect, he died free. God bless him.

Anonymous18Hope he rests in peace. It’s a wonderful story Aaron.
Only if more men spoke openly about their married life misery.
Your grandma sounds like a….. typical woman.
Sincere condolences Aaron on the loss of your Grandpa.
My condolences on your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man, with a powerful message. It’s interesting that things have not changed; what we’re dealing with isn’t new.

Sorry for your loss dude. Sounds like he had it straight when he passed, and was a happy guy.
Society: I refuse your stick and carrot. If you try to beat or shame me you'd better take me down first time. If I want smoke blown up my ass I'll buy a cigar and a length of hose.
Aaron-
Great story. I’m sorry about your loss. Your Grandpa sounds like he was a fantastic role model. Thanks for sharing your story bro, and sorry to hear of your loss. I’m glad he was able to impart his wisdom before laying down to rest…
…and do it with style too. Going after the nursing home nurses? Lol, slick old bastard.
Thanks for giving us a chance to celebrate your Grandpa’s life. Requiescat in pace.
Sorry for your loss dude, his story should be required reading for all MGTOW’s, purple-pillers, and thick-headed blue-pillers.

I’m sorry for your loss, but he is died free and peaceful.
Eventually in their late 70’s, they divorced because his health was declining and she didn’t want to have to take care of him. She took everything from him of course.
This line.
Sorry for the harsh word.
YOUR GRANDMA IS AN UNGRATEFUL BITCH.
Anonymous5Good man, Evil c~~~.
Just curious, growing up with a grandfather who was married by understood the dynamics of going your own way as being superior, did he pass any of that down to his kids and grand kids?
I fear that societal training will cause boys even raised by MGTOW will be poisoned into feminist dogma until something drastic happens like to all of us like false accusations, losing jobs, getting divorced, etc.
#icethemout; Remember Thomas Ball. He died for your children.
May your grandfather RIP, sorry for your loss.

This is beautiful. Your grandpa sounds amazing, and I’m sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry he got married, and sorry for your loss. This world isn’t just.
