If your pension follows, go to Asia or on one of those islands like Guadeloupe or Martinique.

I’m retiring out of the country. Most likely in Panama in a beach town cottage.

Having been born in raised in America, it kind of sucks to say this, but this is the smart move these days. Your money will go 2-3x as far after differences in cost of living and currency conversion, and you can enjoy being somewhere where terms like “toxic masculinity” and “white privilege” aren’t in the media daily, and you aren’t constantly accused of being things like racist and sexist just because you aren’t a brain dead liberal.

You state the up=side of living out of country, but there is also a down-side.
1- The municipality you live in knows you have money.
2- The people in the small town you emigrate to know you are the “Gringo” with money.
3- Try getting any kind of service done to your home….. forget it! better be good at DIY and know someone to get affordable parts.(Parts aren’t cheap)
In short: EVERYTHING that is reasonably priced here, is expensive there.

Marry again, Hell NO ! ( Even JESUS was hung on a cross just once)

Not trying to sound like a know-it-all, I happen to know someone who owns property out country and plans to retire there. He tells me the trouble and cost of getting things done.

I have looked into Belize, Chile, and Peru. Have large expat communities, US retirement is big money there. Not sure yet, just might end up in Texas.

We just don't realize life's most significant events while they're happening. Back then, I thought, "Well, there'll be other days". I didn't realize that that was the only day. - "Moonlight" Graham

That sounds interesting. What kinda cash do you need to have annually to afford that ?

You can live comfortably on $1500-2000/mo. You also get a s~~~load of discounts on virtually everything if you apply for the pensioners visa. All you have to do is show a guaranteed monthly income of $1000. And the visa in indefinite.

Anyway communication, real open communication, is not wanted or even required in a relationship. Women cannot handle fully open and honest communication, plus most perceive it as a weakness on the part of a man. All that is required is catering to her whims, and even then nothing is certain. There is no way to be sure of having a successful relationshit with a woman. MGTaoist
