I’m not a real estate expert. I personally believe the dollar will crash. I have a few younger friends who started selling gold and silver coins from a kiosk in their local mall. If I were younger, I might try it myself.

It’s not even a matter of faith, pure economics. It will be VERY interesting to see what happens as the bulk of the baby boomer generation converts over to fixed income (personal) economics. I know what you mean haha. I’m just more of the nerd type that naturally gravitates towards STEM fields, so I have a bias for it.

And usually, at least when you’re younger, you’re not gonna get a cushy well maintenance contract in trades if you’re younger like I am. You’d have to be a lot older for a position like that in one of the trades.

Trade fields usually make you work your ass off if you’re in your 20s/30s.

It takes even longer to establish yourself in white collar. I didn’t make any real money until my 30s, I was in the red before that. And long white collar hours also take a toll on your body too.

In general it just sucks being a man in the West and being so disposable. Women just demand “equal pay” for none of the risk and work, because they’d never lower themselves to the body destroying efforts men have no choice but to take.

But after I made it, I’d be damned to ever help anyone at my own expense, everyone can struggle to get to where I got, man or woman, on their own.

I’d agree with that. I’m not going into STEM because I want to be a “white collar” worker either. I couldn’t give a s~~~ about high salaries. I just want a decent enough salary to be able to keep a roof over my head and to be able to do the things I want to do.

And most of the time, working long hours in a white collar environment would take a toll on your body because you sit around all day. Not the ideal setting either. I definitely realize that, which is why I work out every other day to keep myself in decent shape.

I’m not sure the job market is a sign of a war specifically against men.

The only decent jobs that would offer any future but required a very specific degree, what kind of degre they requested?
Have you noticed requests of degrees in: nursing, psychology or teaching?
The bulk of the educational gender gap is due nursing, psychology and teaching – here women are 95% or even more (I think it’s like 94% women in psychology, 97% in teaching and 98% in nursing, but it slightly varies from country to country).
About keeping the right behavior while at college/university: you have to act as a castrated. You don’t need to be a castrated. Just use a fleshlight three times per day.

I would be real careful about attributing your failures (below average grades) to someone else’s prejudices. I am not saying that is not the case here, but that can be come a very bad habit rather quickly. When you start blaming everything on everyone else, you lose your ability to solve your own problems.

Where in this statement am I making excuses for my failures ? I stated a fact, they gave me below average grades. I did not make the claim that this was not my fault. I look forward to you re-reading my post, and seeing how I stated I couldn’t stand college anymore. Not that they flunked me.
