This website, Keymaster’s creation, has helped me to unfathomable ends. I so very much enjoy interacting with all of the men here who will listen, offer advice, and provide support.

Brotherhood is important.

Ive got to respectfully disagree with you MW. I strongly suspect that by doing all his does for the men on this site, KM gets paid in ways that money could never beat. It’s a spiritual thing and hard to describe.

A man who gets to daily live and put into practice the masculine traits of respect, trust, honor, courage and integrity. Cant buy that s~~~ and there is no drug that can get you that high.

Comes on an interesting day, because just yesterday, we got a serious offer to buy the site, the forums and everything. Everyone can guess our answer already. It’s not about “the money”. It’s about you guys.

This thread means a lot to me, and although I don’t think it’s right to publish our entire response back to the person who made the offer, we did tell them it’s not about the money. If it were about the money, we would write a garbage book like Twilight.

The following is reason #3 we gave them for not selling.
You all deserve to know it.

Our members trust is the number one reason for a “no”. The member base can’t be “sold” in good conscience. We simply cannot bring ourselves to look the other way on that – at any price. Even if the offer to “buy the site” would be high enough to be impossible to refuse, we would OWE it to them to inform them of any change of hands so they could have the opportunity to cancel their accounts…. and then they could sign up again if they wanted to.

I also play the piano, so “Keymaster” fits that way too. Otherwise, I just couldn’t think of a name so I started with “Keymaster”…. then people actually started calling me that. It fit in 3 different ways, so I like it and kept it.
