I go through soda 12 pack Monday – Thursday; Coors Light Friday – Sunday.

I don’t care what the health factors are in soda. I’m 35 and I just got my blood test results in today, and all my numbers check out in the healthy range and no concern for diabetes. So I’m all good.

Everyone has to pay the piper eventually..

If caffeine is the primary concern, just drink black coffee. No downsides. It’s actually pretty good for you before you add the sugars and creamers. Get used to the bitter.

Too much caffeine is not a good idea.

2-3 cups of black coffee a day isn’t going to do any significant long-term damage. You have to basically get caffeine in its concentrated, powdered form to get into the bad effects. All the negative effects from energy drinks come from the combination of concentrated niacin, taurine, and sugars. If you grind your own beans and brew your own coffee, you can’t drink enough coffee to cause the long-term negative effects.

I drink death wish coffee. If I drank 3 large cups of that coffee a day, I’d be dead. LOL.

Interesting, you can get an idea where someone grew up by what they call that bubbly drink. Confused the hell out of people when I came south, where everything is called a coke. I was going for a soda,..people would say what.

I don’t drink soda nor do I drink tap water the soda is made with
Beer, RO water with vitamin/mineral mix, tea, yerba mate is my menu.
I don’t even order fast food combos, because their drink selection is poisonous crap

Pro tip – if you’re at a gas station, go to the bathroom and wash your face before buying any coffee or fountain drinks. I’ve been to some truck stops where tap water smelled like s~~~, and people were still buying their coffee/pop

I’ve been using the following water filter/pitcher. The water tastes better than bottled. High PH and zero after taste. Wish I could say the same for tap. I now use this water for all cooking and drink prep.

I quit diet soda first as I’m pretty sure there’s nothing good about aspartame. And after that I tapered of soda altogether. Had to tighten my belt to the next notch lately, so it must be helping.
