This subject really hit a nerve for me. I have mentioned on here that I lived in LA for 30+ years and that I recently, over the last 4 years, moved to NY.

I think I’ve spoken of how I really enjoy living alone and that going my own way was the best thing that ever happened to me.

What I didn’t mention is why. I moved to NY to a suburb known for it’s horsiness. I am absolutely surrounded by horse farms as far as the eye can see. I can’t go for a slice of pizza without women wearing those long leather boots and tight pants show up with their riding crops.

That’s why I can’t date. I live in horsey country and I’m more of a city guy. I lived in LA for a long time and loved it.

BTW brother @gargamel, a little off topic but I reminded of you. I bought around 1200 capacitors and 1200 resistors (assorted), 500 leds, lot of jumpers and cables, a multimeter, a soldering iron, 2 protoboards, 2 power supplies (5 and 3.3v), 2 arduino boards and some shields. Transistors and diodes some people recommended me to buy them as I need for my projects, so I won’t buy any of them until I need or I at least have a basic knowledge. I’m accumulating some books and everything is almost ready, I’m planning to start my studies on electronics between march and april. MGTOW is the only way to be truly happy, c~~~s never accept the fact and will nag any men to death, just to hear that he spend money on things just to learn something new, and that you will spend some time focusing on things that aren’t fulfilling their narcissistic needs ! It didn’t cost me more than I would spend on a dinner anywhere with a c~~~, but it will keep me entertained for a long long time !

I will study it by myself, I got some books about electricity and others about electronics, and I will do a lot of experiments.
To me, I can only really learn something if I put that in practice, so that’s why I’m planning a lot of experiments.
