Well the blood bath is on.

Billions are being extracted by the second.

Im losing some money like 300€ right now, but anyway I’m enjoying this CARNAGE.

Coinbase just blocked the sells on their platform.

I will probably will end up losing everything I invested in this suicide stupidity, but after being married and divorced this is child play.

    What will happen?

    Wich crypto will survive?

I don’t think bitcoin should survive, nor ethereum.

    Ripple or iota maybe.

Anyway death is in its way, I wonder how many people put everything they had into this crap, too bad it didn’t got higher, almost a trillion ain’t enough to create a total disaster in economy.

To those following me, be careful, I just farted. Men those beans are killers.

I did not even consider putting one cent in any cryptocurrency. Why bother when the precious metal stock were making lows and still were profitable?

I just bought a small gold Britannia. Cost $300.
I sleep well at night. The spot price is slowly rising; it rose over 12% last year .. it’s a rising tangible asset. With a discount, I got the coin just under spot.

As do I. I set aside a certain amount of bulls~~~ money every month. A great percentage goes to precious metals, medium percentage to ammo, the rest I roll the dice on in the robotics industry. I’ll never understand this cryptocurrency crap before the stockmarket tanks so, why bother?! lol

I’m waiting for cryptos to totally CRASH. I foresee Bitcoin going back to $1,000 or maybe even lower. That’s when you pick them up, NOT at the top of the bubble! Anyone that buys at these prices is taking a TERRIBLE risk! Yes, it could go higher. Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent. But the chances of this bubble continuing are NOT good. It’s a MUCH better strategy to buy right after a crash when it seems to be leveling out.

IMO this happened before and it will be forgotten by next week.
Remember when ETH topped $400 previously and then “crashed” to $200?
Well, check the link below — a post here on Sept 15th.

Interesting thing is. . . . it’s a “currency”. And many cryptos are valued and traded against each other. Trading THE SPREADS (instead of valuing against $USD) is where you can really score the swings. If you stop looking at how they value against $USD , you’ll notice something very interesting.

    For example…..

I like XRB as a hold for the next year or two. A LOT. I think it’s going do VERY well and be a top 10 coin before the end of this year.

Less than a couple of weeks ago, XRB was 25 for one ETH.
Right now (this very minute) it’s 75-to-1.

Think about it. XRB (Raiblocks) is about $14-$15 USD right now.
But you get 75 XRB for one ETH which is like $1090 USD!! – even when the price is $950 USD

This spread is 10%-20% on a daily basis. Bet you b~~~~-to-bones the spread will be 50 to 1 in less than a 1 week. You know what that means? That means who gives a s~~~ about how it is priced against $USD……. you’ll get like X free ETH more when you trade it back again.

$14 USD for XRB right now down from $37 after soaring in Dec.
S~~~ is gonna trade on Binance soon too. Confirmed.

Disclaimer. Don’t EVER trade on someone else’s advice and don’t listen to anyone else. Including me. But I’ll see you back on this topic in 12 months.

I’ll revisit this next week and report on the XRB/ETH spread. Watch it. on a daily basis – regardless of the USD price, you can pick up more ETH in one day just by trading the spreads. That spread is 16%-18% today! Look at the high…. buy some for ETH… then buy back more ETH at the low. You can turn 1 ETH into 1.1 ETH in one day without even trying. In a week like this, you can get 20-30 more … and then buy back ETH when it swings back.

THEN . . . when ETH is high against the dollar, you turn it into USD. Until then, “crashes” like this don’t even matter! You’re just trading one crypto against the other. It’s wild. A “crash” like this is only a problem when you look at the price against USD.

IMO this “crash” is a godsend.
Maybe even the best buying opp for 2018.

We shall see. It sure is fun to watch though.

Last time I talked about Cypto here, a member was considering buying Ethereum at $200. Touched $1425 a couple of days ago. My post was exactly 4 months ago today… so with all the crazy action, it seems the best strategy was to buy and hold. That’s a goddam 7-bagger in 4 months.

    /forums/topic/bitcoin-noob-predictions/#post-600231

“When there’s blood in the streets – buy property”.
This is a great example of that.

    ———-

Look at this chart since you posted. The weak hand(s) sold at $860 and are kicking themselves 2 hours later at $1150. ($1161 at 7:15PM RIGHT NOW) That’s a $300 difference!! Best shut your eyes at times like this. They don’t matter in the long run.

    Agreed. I am waiting.

That is my problem. I am not tech savvy enough to get away from Coinbase. /they suck/ If I could play the spread I would.

    From 4 months ago:

A limited supply is good and drives up the ask, but it also limits the number of bidders making it hard to price

Fortunately it has gone main stream and now:

we will have so many bidders and much more liquidity. It can also be traded in very small increments. However, right now the “spread” is too high and liquidity /ability to get out fast/ is far too low.

How do I know the cryto-currencies are a farce? I heard an investment company advertising to “help” investors buy into this. What does it tell you when brokerage houses are pushing this stuff?

Its a farce, a Ponzi scheme nothing more.

Maybe try poking around at one the exchanges. DONT SEND MONEY THERE. Just look at it.

If you don’t know….. https://www.gdax.com (GDAX) IS Coinbase.

It’s “the coinbase exchange” but they only deal with the coinbase pairs.
    ( ETH/BTC/LTC )

Maybe try Kucoin-dot-com. I signed up there. Don’t send money or trade or anything yet, but they have so many pairs.

( I was speaking specifically about ETH against XRB on another exchange.
Nothing to do with coinbase )

Yeah that’s what this JPMorgan/Chase asshole (below_ said when bitcoin was at $4800 and dropped to $3500 the next day…. only to be a buyer that day. Called Bitcoin a “fraud” and then it went to $19500 in a couple of months.

He’s exactly the kind of asshole Crypto is intended to put out of business. I f~~~ing hate these guys. They’re the assholes that screamed “sell Apple!!!” when it was cheap…. and “buy” when it was high.

Last week he made a public retraction and said “he was wrong about bitcoin”. Except he wasn’t “wrong”. He is wildly dishonest and would sell his mother to make a profit. A complete contrarian indicator.

It pays HUGE to ignore them.

    This.

There’s a place that allows you to buy bitcoin in your IRA — which I think is just f~~~ing stupid. Putting their retirement funds into Bitcoin is the height of lunacy. I don’t even like bitcoin anymore. It has too many problems (infighting and drama between camps) among other tech problems . . .and their fees are crazy. $30 fee to send $5. Stupid.
