This is a developing story. The shooters name has been identified as Steven Paddock, born in 1953. This happened at a country music concert.

Sounds like you read Kundera. That reminds me of the passage about Yakov Dzhugashvili (Stalin’s son) who died in a German POW camp. Supposedly he was messy in his toilet habits and the other POWs complained, ultimately resulting in him doing something that got him killed (either shot by Germans or electrocuted on the fence). Kundera said that Yakov died for s~~~, but that the millions of Germans who died fighting to expand their empire to the east and the millions of Russians who died fighting to expand their empire to the west died for less than s~~~.

That’s a fully automatic weapon, not even 15 people firing simultaneously could make that sound.

It sounded too consistent to be semi auto. I would like to know as well Pete.

Right now everything is all over the place. You can bet it was one of scary black rifles. Sarcasm..

I am curious how and where he got what he did. Sounds like a lot of time between mag changes if that what he was using.
