Im a fan of Maher. I dont always agree with him on everything, but he has VERY logical arguments about what is happening in society. He’s a smart guy. He chides the far left & right for how their self indulgent ignorance is dangerous and stupid. Where common sense is literally being tossed out of the window on BOTH SIDES just to win an ideological argument. Which is turning this country into a police state. Trump wants a dictator style military parade?? The left wants to CRIMINALIZE flirting?? Society is EATING itself…

Its ok to disagree. But wisdom dictates that you listen to what your enemy is saying and THEN make a better argument based on facts.

I mainly put the article up there for entertainment purposes. The #MeToo movement doesn’t affect me one way or the other. But I agree with you about Bill Maher. He pretty much cuts a reasonable, common-sense path between the two extremes.

Heheh. True. In the past, senators and big Hollywood producers and actors never had to worry about sexual harassment charges. Now, however, they’re in the crosshairs.

If a man has made any kind of name for himself and gained a little fame, he now has to worry about any woman who might have a grudge against him going back 30 years or more.

I just think that it is funny now, how much woman have screwed-up The Game and their only asset/tool (i.e. pussy/sex). A relationship with a woman before Feminism was tolerable for men, but now, absolutely no way. So the man is a capitalist, so what! He sells a “product”. Hell. I have worked as a designer in the fem driven retail and fashion industry for years! Most of my coworkers have been straight women and gay people. I dont need to share their politics. I just use them to make a living. No worries Humungus, you’re still my brother in arms!

I understand where you’re coming from. Reasonably though, Maher has defended the constitution many times. Maybe you dont watch him often, but he often argues in favor of Free speech, Gun rights (hes a gun owner) and the rule of law. His ideals MAY line up with your own more than you think.

You dont have to agree all the time. But make sure you know all the facts as best you can before making conclusive judgements.

Full disclosure, he IS a hard line atheist and I am a man with faith in God. So no, I dont always agree with him.. but he does have penetrating common sense in reason.

This is just really lazy posting but youtube is full of stuff you can look up yourself. Common sense arguments. Again, you may not FULLY agree, but you shouldnt spout “abosultes” without doing some research. Maher has no shame in his views and he doesnt hide them. I respect him for that.
