Maybe look at getting a dog during this hard time in your life. You always know he will have your back and be a constant companion.

We’ve all had our fair share of s~~~ty times. I been down this path before many times before I finally said F~~~ IT! and F~~~ THEM ALL!

The only advice I have to give is distract yourself with things that make you feel good (don’t associate yourself with women) you need time to heal yourself.

Make the decision once you are fully recovered in spirit and soul.

    May peace be with you.

What people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle. Rise above. Focus on science.

Since falling off a cliff in April this year and landing awkwardly into a sea of red pills, I have had this nagging doubt that even being connected by the thinnest of strands to the modern matrix is bad for my MGTOW journey.

First I lost my home, family, job and dignity in one 48 hr period which was a living nightmare. I have yet to recover and memories of it haunt me, especially in my long dark nights of the soul, when I lie awake and ponder on where my life went so wrong.

I’m sorry if this has already been brought up, or if you don’t want to share, but what happened in that 48 hour period with the ex? I’m guessing she made false charges?

I understand if you don’t want to bring it up again. Peace be with you brother.

No its fine, there were charges, but I’d rather not say what. I’m not being prosecuted further, but everything I had has gone.

It taught me that the material, the financial, even the emotional, is something you can lose without losing your innate humanity or your raison d’être.
Your status, your means, your reputation – they are meaningless in the ultimate reckoning. You can’t control what other people think about you, so why care? But we do care, that’s where the pain, the frustration, the alienation, comes from. We pay stoicism lip service, but who really wants to be the creepy kid at school? The last guy to get picked for the sports team at PE?

Then again, in 120 years from now who even gives a f~~~ about who you were or what you did? Everyone walking the earth now will be dead then. Even the ‘famous’, they are going to be the same dust as all of us. Our struggles in life are a hill of beans.

“Don’t try” – Charles Bukowski had this engraved on his grave, for good reasons. The king of NFG actually gives one of the deepest, most useful, and altruistic messages ever given to mankind in that laconic statement. Don’t try – save your sanity.

The point is – what now? I’ve had the fall, bottomed out, what’s next?
Wolf Larsen in The Sea Wolf said we are all yeast, slime, squirming and fighting each other for dominance and status in the filth of life. I was once like that, but no more. There has to be a greater truth.

Truth – what is truth? What can anything extant in this physical realm be in any way meaningful? Human life without God is absurd. I mull over these things until my brain hurts, but as Socrates said before he died “A life unexamined is a life not worth living”.

He also wrote Roll The Dice “… if you’re going to try, go all the way. / otherwise, don’t even start…”

Know when it is your duty to give them zero explanations for your actions.

F~~~ing A man, Bukowski was visionary. Who REALLY wants to go all the way?

For him it meant sleeping on benches and not eating for days, losing jobs, women, food, homes, living on skid row. No one wants that, even he didn’t, but he did it anyway.

I have been MGTOW and didn’t know it for years till I discovered MGTOW on youtube few months ago. One thing I started doing with no idea why was actually running away or at least a very fast walk from any obvious advancements immediately. Sounds to me your still open to sexual activity with women and the risks that come with it (where you live I think) just a guess by what you wrote.
But if you have the means and really want to travel the world I suggest you do some serious research into looking for areas of the world where women are desperate for men and the man is not controlled by government and feminism. There are places where women are just happy with the very basics like shelter and food/clothes. Places where female desperation takes females to the lowest they can go. I know one broke and running from debt collectors guy who moved to Panama and married a serious hottie. First thing I told him when he told me he was married is never ever bring her back to America or she might get “americanized” he said to me “I have herd that a lot why is that…”? He was I think in his very early 30’s.
Point being if you have the means move away from feminism cancer and find the good life. Tight warm slippery clean pussy whenever you demand it and without any complaints or excuses, it won’t run off to another guy, won’t cost much at all.. Might even make you some money just for being her protector.
Maybe you can live the dream.

    Brother MGTOW

Unless you are actually a believer in whatever religion a monastery practices, you are unlikely to be allowed even a novice status. Not only will you be miserable pretending to “believe” ,but you’ll be disrespecting those who are sincere, and I say that as a hard core atheist.

I greatly sympathize with your plight, having been through a similar trauma in my young years when I lost my wife, had very limited time with my sons, and became literally homeless due to divorce and poverty.

The good news is that by going true MGTOW you can devote 98% of your time, energy, intellect, education, and work towards worthwhile goals without distractions from women and the incessant demands for money, attention, and their AGENDA. (99% of women have an agenda with a trajectory that leads to marriage, kids, and a “domestic” life that anesthetizes the power and strength of adult CIS males)

The idea of becoming a vagabond could well be solace for your troubled soul, and the experience of travel is well known for widening horizons.

Think back to your younger years, before you were involved with women. What were your passions? What was there in your life that was interesting and that you would have loved to pursue for goals, avocations, education, or work?

Be easy on yourself friend, a shock like you have endured is not easily gotten over. Opening yourself to relationships with women leaves you vulnerable emotionally, and getting over that is going to take time.

Find some MGTOW or RedPill, or Men’s right groups and hang out with them. If necessary, find a male therapist or a trusted friend to talk to. Keep going through the paces of daily life, find and seek your path, and things can get better.

I know from experience of 35+ years of MGTOW monk mode that it’s brought me liberty, stability, and wealth beyond what I ever thought possible.

Forge your own destiny friend, and best of luc.

Brother Cu, I know several fellow Brothers that think you are one solid dude. If you left here and go ghost, it would be a loss for us all.

Going Ghost, dissappearing into the woods and hills and lakes.
Pushing this idea through my mind, i have come to the conclusion that it is a large step in the general direction of Death.

Cutting all ties, only around humans for supplies… Will not heal your soul.
I would say it might build disdain and the desire to see the world burn.
Ultimately leading to the conclusion that your life is so infinitely small, that you might just hang yourself.

If you are not in a good place, move.
Walk. run. sleep and eat as needed.
Carry your baggage with you, do not run from it, at least not for a while.
Learn from it, exchange ideas with your fellow men as you travel.
Maybe even travel TO one of your fellow men.
Advancing across the map will change you.
Advancing across the map will change those you meet and dare to open up to.
You will find some joy and a lot of pain, unmet needs and dreams that shatter.
Then some pain and a lot of peace.
Peace will be more important than joy.

Maybe your path ends in a busy City where you share your life through poetry.
Maybe it ends in the Mountains in a Log cabin with a horse and two dogs.

Just don’ t get bogged down by your past in your current spot.
    And do not travel alone.

Cu – I can’t really add to others responses in this thread, but your thoughts on stoicism and the return to earth really struck a chord with me.. mosts likely as I’m slowly working my way through Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations at the moment and its clearing the fog around me.

Stay strong and moral – to yourself, family and friends. Those are the most important things.

Meditations is a great source for seeing the bigger picture. I recommend Epictetus too. Thanks for the kind words.
