Hey Gentlemen,
Just saying hey from South Carolina. At 61, I have finally had it with women! The other night my old lady called me and wanted me to come over. I told her I hadn’t slept the night before and and was working on 30 hours w/o sleep. I told her I couldn’t drive because I was too tired. She told me get a couple hours sleep, and then come over (a 40 mile drive). I told her I probably wouldn’t wake up till morning. She told me to set an alarm! I told her no, I would just sleep through it, and I said I’ll see you tomorrow as soon as I get up. She said OK, she would see me then, and hung up. Five minutes later, she called back and told me not to bother, that, “Everything seems to be all about you.” This is not the first time (not even the 10th) she has said that or worse. Anyway, she called me today and wanted me to come over. I told her, “No, I don’t think I want to see you anymore. This is not going to work out….” She screamed FINE! I don’t want to see you anymore either!” and hung up. How am I the bad guy here? She is not a young FemiNazi SJW; she’s 65YO, for crying out loud. Guys, keep your chin up. It don’t get better with age…..

I gave up women in my early thirties, its only in my late fifties that I thought I would try them out again.
My experience is that the older they get, the worst they get. I think they absorb too much testosterone from somewhere but do not have the intellectual capacity to control it and so it turns them a little bit crazy.
I think If I ever date again, it will only be with women under 25 as they don’t seem so crazy then. (So I should be safe).

Actually, she is diagnosed with BPD. She uses it as an excuse. I know it’s an excuse, cos so am I. The difference is, I have had years of therapy, and can spot when I am losing it. I “bug out” to keep from hurting others, or when forced, keep a tight rein on it. It’s not easy, but if you want to live a half-ass normal life, you have to do it. It just takes constant mindfulness. She has unloaded on me unmercifully several times. She actually crawled my a$$ because I would rather spend money to get hot water and a bathtub in my house than spend it on her. All about me, don’tcha know. I’ve left her twice before. This time it is the point of no return. I guess maybe I came here as a “support group”

Yes, welcome here. You are in good hands.

In the medical profession they differentiate between “male borderline” (explicitly stating the word “male”) and normal borderline, meaning “female” but not mentioning it. (P.C. of course)

Male borderline is way more rare and men can control it easier because the rest of their brain has more capacity. And women mostly have the NPD type on top of it.

My ex-wife has BPD, and when i brought that up for my custody battle, the @$$hole judge had the nerve to say, “Well I’ve seen people with worse mental problems raise their kids.”

The worst part is that at least where I live, no insurance will cover treatment for BPD. The only way they will is if you tack it on as a rider to another disorder like schizophrenia. BPD is basically the clinical term for a self-centered asshole.
