I can’t decide on “best”, my favourite (PC ones):
Quake
Dead Space
Prince of Persia
S.T.A.L.K.E.R
GTA
The ones where I liked the story from start to finish:
Legacy of Kain
Dead Space-----------
I would say dragon age, except games 1&2 forced monogamy rhetoric on me.
I like the witcher a lot, but I tend to have a hard time replaying those games, something in the game play is lost the second time.
Seriously? Pokemon? I played them, but they really aren’t in the league. “Raise your pets with the power of love!” Love them by making them fight other pets and wander the country as a young kid. I would be okay if they didn’t bring up how much I am supposed to love the collection of pixels so much.
Diablo is a contender for me, but number 3 suffers from the same flaw as the witcher.
The most consistent game I’ve played and enjoyed personally is Dynasty Warriors. It doesn’t try all that hard to be new and creative, but I’ve enjoyed every one I’ve played.
"You can keep your soul, I don't want a cell-mate." - Them Crooked Vultures
Metal Gear
The Witcher
Grand Theft Auto
Mass Effect
Dragon Age (maybe)
A series (with at least 3 games) where every game is amazing?
Halo 1, 2, and 3.
I don’t think there are any other series like that, yet. Maybe when we get Portal 3 or (gabe willing) Half Life 3. But I can think of other series that come close.
Final Fantasy 6, 7, and Tactics.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and Two Thrones.
Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.Honorable Mentions:
Star Wars: Kotor, Kotor 2, and TOR.
Baldur’s Gate 1, 2, and Icewind Dale 1, 2, and Planescape: Torment. All by the same company on similar game engines.
Diablo 1, 2, and 3 after RoS.
Mass Effect (with the alternate ending to 3)
Ultima 7, Underworld 1, and Underworld 2.
Wing Commander 1, 3, and 4.
Final Fantasy 1, 8, and 10.
Assassin’s Creed
Grand Thef Auto 3+Awesome games that deserve to be mentioned in this thread although they don’t qualify:
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines
Portal 1 and 2
Half Life 1 and 2
Any Civilization game.
Crusader Kings 2
World of Warcraft / Everquest / Eve Online
The Total War franchiseOh yeah, i forgot, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 is also good, for the 3rd? not so much.
Parasite Eve series also a decent one.
Starcraft
Command & Conquer
Dark Souls
Warcraft III
I like RTS’s 🙂

I love a lot of the series already mentioned, though I have to say Saints Row. Above all; SR2.
I love many games to be honest since i game a lot XD.
I have to admit i’m a big fan of Pokemon (any of them, even the newer ones and the spin offs like Mystery Dungeon (except the mini games stuff)) and the Zelda series. Lately, i also started playing Plants vs Zombies and am looking foward to PvZ Garden Warfare 2 which the trailer looks epic.
I’m also a fan of Eve Online but i don’t have much time to play lately with work and all. Also, right now i play that new game Ark Survival evolved.
I also “play” Second life, but yeah, it doesnt really count as a game.I don’t play video games a whole lot anymore, I bought an xbox for about 2 weeks and sold it, I wanted to try fallout: I used to build computers when I was younger and I mean late 90’s early 2000. *you were king if you had a voodoo graphics card* I still build my own but, I have no reason to build a newer gen system; I figure I’d build a new tower, run futuremark and cpu benchmarks, say wow cool, check email, read articles LOL. I’m still rocking a 9800gt 512mb graphics card! OP* I cant think of a series I liked, although the games below I played the sequels…and I was always let down 🙁
-unreal tournament (pc)
-red faction 1 (first game to implement destructive world) ps2
-age of empires 2 (pc)
-morrowind (pc) tried skyrim for about 2 hours never played it since
-Delta Force 2 online (was in a clan with my 36,6k dial up connection)
-number 1: half-life 1 series (Gordon freeman, opposing forces *spec-ops guy*, blueshift *security guard) I like how they tied the main game Gordon freemen to the other 2 characters you play)
Anonymous0I can name a couple I’ve played:
DOOM
Shenmue
Fallout
SimCityI play allot of video games but these are my favourites (in no particular order):
Pokemon (all main stream titles)
Zelda
Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy
Elder Scrolls
Mario
Darksiders (it only has two games tho so i don’t know if this counts)Mass effect or batman arkham.btw New mass effect androids has been announced
Mass effect or batman arkham.btw New mass effect andromida has been announced
Anonymous5Metal Gear Solid is the best series.
Half Life was great and Fallout will mostly join the list with 4 coming out soon. Mass Effect needs another good game. 3rds just s~~~ty ending
How the hell could I forget Mortal Kombat and Johnny Cage
It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything
Starcraft
Warcraft 3
Diablo
Witcher
Total war
Heroes
Elder scrolls
Jedi Knight,Jedi Academy
Legacy of Kain
Gears of War solid YES! In addition a personal fav will always be the Xwing Trigoly, followed (very closely by the FarCry series) and than topping it off with Final Fantasy IV)
May the Force Be With You
This is a hard question to me, because each series has positive and negative points! Not to mention that some games never had a sequence and they are incredible! Ristar, High SeaS Havoc, God Hand, Shadow of Colossus…
I became a MGTOW because this was the only logical solution for a man survive in a world replete of gynocentrism and biased against men!
a couple also mentioned that didn’t make the 3 game requirement.
Darksiders 1&2
Dues Ex & Dues Ex human revolution
