Wanted to get anybody who plays video games take on the best series you have played. Minimum of 3 solid games. At the moment I would say mine is Gears of War. Would be Mass Effect but the ending blew. So name the system(s) and series.

    Resident Evil ps. IMO

Resident Evil had some great games and I’m personally a large fan. I have played all except the one they had on the Wii. RE2 and RE4 were the best IMO. There is always going to be a debate of whether they completely abandoned survival horror when they could have continued to stick with it. Given games like Dead Space and Fear did so well.

i’d have to second Resident Evil, another personal fav is Metal Gear Solid on PS…I used to really like the final fantasy games but they haven’t made a decent one since the PS2 platform…although the new one for PS4 due out sometime around Christmas looks more promising.

I really loved the Thief series, although I still havent played the 4th game.. I also just finished the Dead Space series including the expansion. That series was an awesome sci fi/horror/mystery storyline that had me yell out loud a few times!
I’m also a huge Witcher fan, played the first 2 games a few times through. Cant wait for Witcher 3, I know its out now, but I didnt get it yet cause I need to finish Farcry4 first.

Assassin’s Creed Pokemon Total War Civilization Mass Effect Uncharted Fallout Elder Scrolls I’ve never played any of the Witcher games but it is the definitely the next series I’m going to play.

Never played Fallout 1 or 2 so but I did like Fallout Vegas and loved Fallout 3. Only played 2 of the Elder Scrolls as well. Could not get over Mass Effects s~~~ty ending. I also found Dishonored a much better assassination game than Creeds. Dishonored pretty made me reevaluate the series.

I think you forgot borderlands in your list considering your avatar is a Salvador from Borderlands. Dead Space was really good but the 3rd game was not as good.

Eh, I’ve always found Assassin’s Creed games to be extremely fun and interesting with the historical time periods it goes to. Dishonored was a very fun game, but I just like the 3rd person element of the game too.

Despite assassins creed 3 being so awful i really do love the games… it really p~~~ed me off that i waited basically a year for assassins creed unity and when it finally came out it was impossible to run on my computer specs. I dont think i’ve ever felt like a lack of being able to play a video game has ever caused a void in my life except for that, so, assassins creed has my vote. I also liked the prototype games, i think those free roaming games where you can basically evolve stats. Also why i loved the new saints row. And i havent played the new GTA but i loved playing vice city and liberty city back in the day so i may at some point come back to it

Assassins creed lost me at 3 with all of the glitches. I did find 1 and 2 very exciting but the assassinations were repetitive and the sword fighting very boring. Was very Fable styled fighting when they saw you. Of course there is a reason they are popular because so many people enjoy them.

Very good point I forgot the Saints Row 1-3 and GTA series. All  of the GTAs are have been very well done. Considering they poured 230+ million into 5 it should be.

Assassins Creed, oh how I hate thee!

Well, that’s not quite true. 1&2 were ok, they showed what it could be. Brotherhood and Revelations were brilliant. Great story and action. 3’s main character Connor had all the pesonality of a particularly boring dead fish. For me, the only saving grace from 3 was the naval combat. Black Flag was just great fun with naval combat on steroids.

Unity was possibly the most boring and tedious game I have played in a long time. What p~~~ed me off most about unity was the fact that you cant start a new game and have another save going.

Rogue was pretty good. At least we get to see the world from the templar perspective and again, good naval combat.

Syndicate is the next one on the way. I have been invited to an event on the 17th in Sydney where I will get to play test it for 20 mins. So we’ll see how that goes.

I also am looking for people to join my squad on Battlefield Hard line. Please read and reply to my topic about that if any of you are interested in joining. I want it to be an all MGTOW squad, but if I don’t have enough people then I will have to recruit others.
