AUG 9 UPDATE – IMPORTANT SOLUTION TO LOGIN PROBS

The bell notification thingy is acting weird. Tells me I have “+9” alerts, I open and nuke the alerts, still displays the “+9”. Close and reopen – same thing.

Maybe I’m just a 9+? Time for some Chadding….

It says people have replied to my post and when I click it it goes to post I have replied on.. Not post I started..

I only wish to know when they reply to post I started,, Not other mens post that I left a reply on..

I restricted myself to the category “cool s~~~ and fun stuff” for this reason,
so that if something I posted was noteworthy and needed more attention they could ask me to put in in MGTOW central or move it there themselves..
or move it to the appropriate category..

Some if not most of my post maybe should be in other categories but Its all fun and cool for me…I wake up in my fathers kingdom everyday until someone provides evidence otherwise..and that is some cool s~~~ and fun stuff to debate or talk about..

I know Men are first and foremost honest with themselves and prone to stick to their convictions.

I have an order of commitment signed by a judge and it is worded very strongly.

Before the dreaded “loop”, I would get randomly kicked off while simply changing pages in the forums, but since the fix, I don’t get forced log out anymore as long as I come back every day.

Don’t know if this is important to anyone for any reason. Just thought I’d mention it and say that I’m pleased it no longer happens. Really liking mgtow.com more and more now for various reasons.

When you click the bell, you will see up to 9 or 10 live notifications.
Directly below that, you’ll see a link “see all notifications”.

This is a link to the “notifications” page. That page will only care about YOUR notifications when you’re logged in. There is a complete list of your latest live notifications. Just click the “X” to make them go away. Then the red number should disappear from the bell. Tested and working great.

When you click the bell there is also a settings “wheel” (cog) to set your notifications prefs.

There was a broadcast notice explaining this is a little bug in the WORDING. It’s misleading, and it doesn’t know the difference between “a topic you started” and “a comment you made”. Still don’t know why the wording is screwy.

It should say something like “membername has left a comment after you” in the forums.

Will clarify and shout that reminder broadcast notice out to everyone again.

Yes experienced this too (back before the major upgrade).

You weren’t really kicked out. In only APPEARED like you were logged out. If you clicked around on a page or two, you would be back in again. That was a frustrating anomaly and nobody’s fault.

We applied a fix. It appears to not be happening anymore.
Thankful about that too.

I once got an email after entering a new password on the ‘wordpress’ page: Hi Howdy, your password has been successfully reset. That gave me the creeps for sure.
