I’ve yet to meet men in any field who feel that women – or other affirmative-action hires – do in general half the work of males. She mentions we have an increasingly complex economy. No, we actually don’t. We have a complicated society, whose complications are the side effect of socialism and statism. We have created so many regulations and laws that simply doing business becomes difficult, and permission is required for everything. These are complications. As for complexity? Nope, not so much. We buy the vast and overwhelming majority of our crap from overseas, and pay for it with raw materials and debt. A lot of that debt is currently being translated into foreign ownership of formerly American assets. Complex? No, it’s quite simple. We do very little but move paper back and forth, and take the most pride in activities that add value to nothing. Teachers have ready-made lesson plans from textbook companies, bureaucrats work with Soviet-level efficiency at religious goals that can’t possibly work, and insurance and finance companies move paper back and forth. Very little actual *work* is done. Work is done in China, or Korea, or Vietnam. Not here.
Modern teachers – through most of college – do jack s~~~. I’ve taught at the university and graduate school level. Had I chosen to, I could have done almost NO work, and simply regurgitated canned lesson plans, LECTURES, SLIDES, quizzes, and tests. Most college profs and public school teachers – mostly women at the secondary level – do very, very little work. What they do is process, not product. They complicate the process with rules and regulations so as to make production less efficient and more women-friendly.
What work is done in our society is almost entirely done by men. Almost all engineers are men. Most dentists and veterinarians – less affirmative-action-happy fields – are men. Most *good* doctors are men, and I know almost no male doctor after a few drinks who won’t confirm this, often with terrifying stories. Most pilots are men. Almost all truck drivers, construction crews, machinists (the few left), skilled trades . . . almost all men.
We’ve outsourced our economy for a number of reasons, but at least one of those reasons was to make a place for women who do f~~~ing nothing. The author of that lovely piece is a writer on feminist crap. She has an MA in English Literature. She taught English at a design school, and I’m smelling “adjunct” here, as it does not mention her being a tenured professor. She makes her living writing feminist garbage on children, the family, and why the Soviet Union rocks and all the news about people starving to death is made up pro-Democratic Party bulls~~~.

She is clearly on f~~~ing Mars, and has zero connection to reality, as do many wealthy New Yorkers. I’m just going to take a wild guess that her husband supports her financially, completely.
I’m not bothered this c~~~ writes things like this. I’m bothered that the MSM takes her seriously. I suppose they have to. We must continually try and create the perception that feminism and socialism are working, even though the country is disintegrating around us.
