I have to share this.
It’s minuscule, but to me it exemplifies so much of the (f~~~ed up) dynamic between men and women today…
I was on the patio of one of my local watering holes tonight. It was packed. It’s a smoking patio, and I smoke.
I was having a cigarette and this girl sitting next to me asks – “Can you go OUT OF HERE and smoke that?”. I said – “No. This is a smoking patio”.
Two minutes later, she stands up and is leaving, but turns to me, with a p~~~ed off face on her way out and says – “Are you single!?!”. The implication obviously being that I couldn’t POSSIBLY have a girlfriend if I didn’t oblige to a females demand.
This is the kind of s~~~ that exemplifies why I have no patience for c~~~s. She couldn’t possibly be expected to tolerate the rules of the kingdom – ‘there’s smoking on the patio, and I’m smoking’. She, personally didn’t like it. Expected me to oblige to her own favor, and if I didn’t, then it’s not enough for me to merely tolerate someone else. It’s not enough to simply change her own environment, of her own volition. No. She couldn’t even get up, leave, and in anger state something direct such as – “I cant stand smokers!”. No. What did she do instead? Escalate matters by stating that I must be “single”/i.e. not be able to get a woman because I don’t lie down and do precisely what she says.
The irony in this situation lies in the fact that her statement is a window into the mind of a woman. I was following the rules – it’s a smoking patio; but if I don’t change my behavior at the whim of a woman, then the logical conclusion is I “must be SINGLE/NOT be able to get a woman”.
That, to me is the conclusion. Makes so much sense to me when I hear females say this s~~~. The worst part is, being surrounded by male friends who don’t get it and think you’re an asshole for not obliging.

The other aspect of this is this idea that if you are single that there is something wrong with you. But notice how this standard only exists for men. Women who are single are lauded as smart, independent etc…pick your adjective of the week. But as a guy, if you are single there is something wrong with you.

I am an ex-smoker, quit 17 years ago but if I sit in a smoker’s area I would never bitch and complain… No matter if the person smoking is a man or a woman.

Mid to late 2012:
I was “non-verbally complaining” about a c~~~’s continuously barking dog, close to my table, and it was going on for weeks and months… Every afternoon she was there and feeding the spoiled and noisy dog off of her plate.
Women are MOSTLY the ones doing antisocial things in public without any shame.
