This is the difference between Sandman and Stardusk. Sandman was never mgtow (maybe his is now after all his dating, I don’t know). Stardusk got tired of defending mgtow from the watered down version it has become and basically said screw it, let them have it, I don’t care..(in true mgtow manner).
You’re free to clock in and clock out of Going Your Own Way…. but don’t confuse Going Your Own Way with getting laid. Two separate codes. One is PUA and sliding into ‘wants’ the other is MGHOW, away from women to be sure. I think the only exception is straight up paying an escort, vacationing in Asia etc….. Men Going Their Own Way MUST have a standard. Not getting married is a soft benchmark, the real benchmark is ghosting women all together. Continuing to bang a bitch regularly is PUA.

That particular concept has been a general conclusion based on the status of western women. What you’re talking about really doesn’t differentiate MGTOW from INCELS and TFL’s if that’s the case as it relates to eventually ghosting women completely. And there IS a difference between INCELS, TFL’s, and MGTOW. Chiefly being that MGTOW’s have a CHOICE. And they also have an ability.
The only standard required for MGTOW is maintaining your sovereignty and freedom. Both of which are perfectly accomplishable even with short and long term relationships. It starts getting dicey once marriage comes into play, but even some men exhibit traits of being a MGTOW/No F~~~s Given. It’s not impossible to be MGTOW while married, but it’s quite rare, and very difficult under the circumstances. The only reason most men on here even bring up the marriage issue is because most men here are divorced, and they see what a losing deal marriage is in the first place. So naturally they advocate against it.
As for what separates MGTOW from “bachelors”. It’s simple. Most bachelors are blue pilled. MGTOW are not. While some “blue pilled” bachelors will go their whole lives without being married, eventually most all blue pilled bachelors settle down. MGTOW do not.

If you’re going to argue semantics, then really the only TRUE MGTOW are the asexuals who psychologically have zero to no interest in sex simply because it does nothing for them, not because women are toxic. Based on your argument. With that logic, you could argue that anyone who isn’t genuinely asexual isn’t really MGTOW, and isn’t really asexual since they have to “convince” themselves and talk themselves off the ledge as it relates to engaging with and f~~~ing women. Yes, there was ManWomanMyth before that and Enlgishmen arguing on an old forum from as early as the nineties. But real MGTOW, the one that exploded into what we have now, began with Stardusk and Barbarossa and it was clearly a departure from women in total…that meant no sex and relations~~~s, not a pledge of celibacy but at bare minimum we are not PUA’s….get it straight

You may understand your situation but youre not free. And to assume most men here were divorced is silly. Most men here got burned by a woman whether it was a two week relations~~~ or a 20 year relationship…. the raito of divorced men, to not, is probably like 1/5…..most of us are in our 30’s, never been married but learned enough not to ever do it. This would imply that taking a pledge of celibacy, i.e. being a Monk, is not classified as being a MGTOW. I would respectfully disagree. Perhaps he meant to say “not necessarily a pledge of celibacy”, to include Monks aswell?
Clarification is needed on this. Perhaps there cannot be one agreed definition of MGTOW…

That’s the read deal. Emotions……that’s the whole thing right there. Controlling your emotions is what it’s all about. As long as you can do that, you’ll have your freedom and as long as you have your freedom, you’re a MGHOW.

Do not accuse monks of being asexual. Laughable man! I have the sexual appetite of a lion. I’d love to have sex with anything, including trees and especially short haired brunette women! But I cant do it because of experience with women in the past who severely screwed me over financially, legally, emotionally etc. Also, I understand women’s hypoagency and hypergamy too well.
I have internalized why women do this. I understand them. My decision to go mgtow has nothing to do with the laws or misandry in the family courts. Getting too close to the fire will get you burned. Letting the fire get out of control can cause disaster. However, if you learn how to control the fire and you know how close is too close, fire can be useful and it can be nice to let it warm you.
If you can’t control the fire, then stay away from it. I know how to use fire and not get burned by it.
