With all the time I spend on the road I gotta find something to pass the time other than listen to talk radio so naturally I scream lol.

    I LOVE HEAVY METAL

Marriage and Divorce for a man is like getting a cactus shoved up your ass. It’s painful with all the spines that go in and it is painful getting all the spines out, meanwhile Wifey gets most of the money, your home, your kids, and practically everything you own.

^ Ha, I don’t even consider that music Micah. That’s just some dude screaming in a studio, produced nonsense. If it ain’t four or five dudes playing their own instruments it is garbage.

I’m a metalhead. Love it. All kinds. New and old. Seen many bands. Between the buried and me was my favorite band and seen them twice. Once with mastodon and once with job for a cowboy.

    Don't care

Completely understand! It wasn’t until I heard Brownings “Standing On The Edge” song that got me into them. Not a fan of electronica s~~~…first I heard of it was Rammstein lol I still chuckle when I think of Du Hast.

    What about these guys!? lol

What people call "love" is just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed. It hits hard, then it slowly fades, leaving you stranded in a failing marriage. Your parents are gonna do it. Break the cycle. Rise above. Focus on science.

Cant stop listening to DeafHeaven’s New Bermuda.

Gotta love Bloodbath, Acid Bath, Deftones, Dillengers Escape Plan

People define Metal differently and theres at least 5 subcategories of metal. Metallica is like soft metal whereas Slayer is a whole different thing. Still, Deahheaven, an entirely new direction. Love it all

Ok, they are seemingly a group at least… lol Not my cup of tea though…Call me oldschool, or just old, but I can’t get into screaming or super fast just for the sake of screaming or super fast… Newer stuff? I like The Sword, they have been around since 03′, sort of have a Sabbath sound to them.

And Morlock’s link of War Pigs by Sabbath is from one of the best metal albums ever, period.

    RIP CLIFF!

After Cliff went, it all went downhill. I still watch this once a week.

They all make their sacrifices to make it “big.”

@thx1138 The Sword sound pretty good, will be chasing down more of their stuff and yes War Pigs is a great album.

The album with War Pigs is actually Paranoid, but yea, my all time favorite.

The Sword already has several good albums. Start with their early stuff and work your way up, if you like Sabbath as much as I do you will surely like The Sword.

Saw Maiden and ghost about three months ago.

No longer can we walk away, we must run. Remove the motive power.

Jason Newsted was a solid replacement but they ran him off. Though not as talented as Cliff, he held is ground solidly imo. Lars should have had Cliff’s bunk that night imo………………………..

It is too, I was reading up on their history the other night and they actually wanted to call it Walpurgis (which in turn reminds me of War Pigs) so that title just stuck in my head!

Love all the early Sabbath stuff, that heavy but warm guitar tone is awesome.

I tried watching that doco Metallica did “Some kind of Monster” and they really do behave like a bunch of bitches. Jason was far better than their current bassist and added some really great deep growls to the vocals. It now takes the current bassist and Kirk to fill in on backing vocals and they still sound like girl scouts in comparison.
