Make sure your name is on the lease and not the other guy you are rooming with. Also, make sure you can afford the apartment payments for a few months into the future.

That way if the other guy you are rooming with brings home a girlfriend to live with you both. You can legally kick them both out and you have enough funds to last a few months until you find a new roommate.

Once I get my own apartment, I plan on getting a dog myself. I’m not sure of the type of breed I want yet, but I love dogs as it is.

Anthony, if you’re gonna keep a dog inside your house and don’t like to pull pet hair from your mouth, food, cloths, and everything, I recommend something that doesn’t shed like a poodle.

For an outdoor dog I like em big and mean, the nuisance of having dog hair and dog s~~~ all over our towing yard (years ago) was much cheaper than having the customers car stripped overnight, radios, batterys, and copper radiators were their primary target…

I prefer something big as well. I’ll be living in an apartment for quite a few years though, so I’m definitely going to go for a medium sized dog and something that doesn’t shed a lot of hair.

Once I end up getting a bigger place, I plan on getting 2 big dogs.
