Are roommates good ideas for MGTOW?

I’m moving out of my parents place in a few months and I’m thinking if I should or shouldn’t get a place with roommates. Whether or not I do end up getting roommates either way, I’ll be able to afford an apartment.

I prefer living alone for the most part, but I’m wondering if I should try the roommate experience. Most men are blue pill, and most men my age will end up bringing women to the place they’re staying at.

My main concern is when they bring their girlfriends/one night stands over. And knowing how women are, they just f~~~ s~~~ up all the more when they’re in they’re early 20s/late teens.

For you MGTOWs that have had roommates in the past, is it a good idea to have roommates or not? I know finding a good roommate will be a pain in the ass, but I just don’t know whether or not if I should have that experience.

If you can afford to live alone,do it! Like you said in your post most men are blue pillers and you don’t need that aura around you.Also they tend to date irritating sluts which will annoy the hell out of you by their voice alone.Solitude is your best friend and you cant have that with roommates.Make the place your own,cook your own meals,watch your shows,and the place is always how you left it,clean and neat. I would highly recommend you go at this solo.

That’s my biggest concern with having roommates. Is their annoying girlfriends. I love my solitude especially when I have to deal with gynocentric people at the work place all day.

Plus, I already know the apartment I’m going to be staying in. It’s right in the middle of town and it’s only $400 dollars a month all utilities paid. Which is great for MGTOW.

The only roommates I may want in the future are dogs. They’re the best kind of roommates.

Dogs are f~~~ing awesome because of that. And yeah, my first thoughts on this would be to go at this alone. I just wanted to be sure and get some other opinions before hand.

But I’ll definitely end up living alone then. Sounds like the best option for me.

I had a roommate in my 20’s. I highly recommend you DO NOT do it. People change, and most people change for the worst unfortunately. If I was to go into detail as to what I endured you would never have a roommate either. Take my word. DO NOT!

Live alone, turn on thr radio or tv for background noise if you feel alone. It is not worth the irritations that will only continue to increase with time. Being friends with someone and living with them are two completely different experiences.

Pets are much better roommates, hands down.

I shared a duplex with myself and a room mate on one side, and my business partner/stripper and his girlfriend on the other side, for the most part it was smooth sailing as all of us had our own lives and were for the most part responsible. We went out on weekends together and never got in trouble, during weekdays there was never any drinking and the apartment/flat was always kept clean and spotless, as it should be.

For the most part it depends on what kind of people you’re living with.

Live alone – I don’t care if it’s in a one room apartment! The peace is worth it. Your home should be a sanctuary from the worlds daily bulls~~~. Brining another human being removes that barrier as they will bring all their crap along.
A dog is different – they live to love you and are a faithful companion every day. All my friends told me that when I was single and lived alone – I ignored them and chased women instead. The rest is history.

I had a couple of roommates over the years:

– first one was a total asshole, we didn’t click at all, and even when I spoke in a hushed voice when chatting with someone, he’d come banging on the door demanding to know what the f~~~ I was yelling at. I was almost glad that I didn’t pass my 2 months trial at the job so I could get out of there and go back to my parents. The colleagues at the job were totally not my type. Snobby, stuck up and most of them were rich who just worked there for fun.

– 3 months after that. The second time was with 2 students, best half year I had. We had fun together, ate together, had beernights with a large crowd of guys and the atmposhere was really good. Felt really bad that the half year-job was over because I had to leave those guys, not because of the job because the colleagues were boring and s~~~ty.

– 2 months after that. The third time was with a fat landlady landwhale and a student. Landlady hardly bothered us. Student and I became friends almost instantly and shared evenings having dinner, beer, laughs and went to town together, often accompanied by another friend. I lived there for about 7 months afore I went to my own place. Good times.

You’ll see I lived exclusively with guys (minus the landlady) and mostly had a good time, so I suggest that you just try it and see where it goes. Who knows, maybe you’ll find a likeminded guy you can have good conversations with 😉

Let me tell you my experience with roommates and why I’d rather eat beans and rice twice a day than experience another one. They will Freeze up the air conditioner, mess up the toilet, use your toiletries, eat your food, make bad smells, tell everyone your secrets and private business, have over friends that do not respect you in the least, be mean to your pets, steal, make loud noise, probably get you kicked out if you have a lease and can not be kicked out if you put them on a lease, might have drugs and get you arrested for being guilty by association, might get you fired, will find excuses to get out of paying rent especially if they break something plumbing or electrical, they will ask to borrow your car or ask for rides everywhere, they will use your PC and virus it up, they will do things like masturbate or take a dump then go into the kitchen to prepare food without washing hands, they will ruin your furniture with filthy sweaty BO, they will generally play mind games and manipulate you and many other things. The worse part is they do not even put out… I would usally rent a room out for $400 a month with utilities included but… considering all of those things that room mates will do I barely cut even and have even lost money on some of the many room mates I have had through age 18-29. Live in a camper van or something if you have to but NEVER sacrifice the sanctity of your home.

After my divorce, I kept the family house, but I converted it so I could live downstairs (it needed a kitchen), and rented the upper floor out. For the last 3 years I had tenants live upstairs and pay my mortgage. So basically I have my own house, but because I don’t need (or afford) all of it – I let other people stay in it and I only pay utilities. So I get $1200 of side income doing that, which is the beautiful thing. An apartment would cost me $700, but right now I live in the house and only pay ~$250

PCJonjon pretty much nailed the downsides of living with room mates. You don’t realise how many people have really dirty living habbits until you’ve lived with them. I made some good friends when i co-habbited, but others were an absolute nightmare to live with.

I pity Londoners the most these days because rents are so bad that some people are resorting co-habbiting in the same room and there are the older crowd or post-divorcees that will never be able to afford/buy their own place and are stuck in shared acommodation. My idea of a living hell.

Living alone sounds likes it’s heaven compared to having a roommate. Which is great, because I love my solitude.
