As a baby boomer I got to watch the family court system go from bad to worse. Most boomers I know are on their third marriages and have horror stories about their divorces. So, why do they keep getting married? I think it’s because A) they’ve lost so much that they need a woman that’s profited from the system to help take care of them B) pride. Most boomer men won’t admit to how beaten they’ve gotten. I’ve heard the young guys don’t have money. Probably because they’re under employed. A lot of younger women are looking for old, bald guys that still have the means to “keep” a woman. The boomers that are cucks to some woman are mostly hostages in my view. For some men, it’s easier to duck your head in the sand than it is to stand up and take responsibility for your life, and go your own way. I think these old men see marriage as a security blanket because they just don’t know any better and have f~~~ed up their situation to the point that they’re afraid they CAN”T make it on their own anymore. I don’t feel sorry for them. These are the same guys that used to brag about how much more mature married guys are…right up until their wives served them with divorce papers.

Wow that blew up. I didn’t quite understand just how bad the damage is until I read that. We have arguments and disagreements all the time on here, and I’m certainly involved in them too, but at the end of the day there are lines we don’t cross and respect we do have for each other, and afterwards we shake each other’s hands and move on. I know where there’s a truck scale going in. Under the scale would be a good resting place. Sometimes these kids just make me want to spit. I struggled to get a job after I left the Navy with some training under my belt. It wasn’t luck, it was planning and perseverance that kept me employed. Working, going to school full time, and paying child support for a handicapped daughter. If you can’t find a job in this economy, then why does my niece have one with no college degree?
