I’ve covered these two songs in my past from Madseason “Wake up” and “River of Deceit” written by Layne Staley from Alice In Chains. The lyrics mean more to me now than they ever did.
It’s very cool to see so many MGTOW musicians;
Anonymous42Yea, music is something we seem to share and have in common, I’m impressed. My brother, a MGHOW, can play Robert Jonson, I never got into a fret clamp, or using a slide, but I have got into finger picking, and 12 string. KeyMaster is a pianist, SoulMan’s a guitarist, Big Viking a drummer, all these guys on this thread are into music. With our combined talent and MGTOW attitudes, we could rock the world with music never heard before, I’m sure of it! You know how it is when you have more people jamming, I don’t mean the kind of music that’s generic. It would be peaceful and harmonizing. Some of the sounds and rhythms you come up with when you share and not hog, are the best sounding music I ever heard. It’s the only way to achieve residence, the kind that overwhelms your soul, and makes hours of playing seem like only minutes….

I never thought less of your character because of your anger. MG-TOWER is correct that we have all been there..I am glad to see your back..I have not been here much longer than you,but have pushed a few buttons I should not have..Your not the only man here that has unleashed on me. Just a misunderstanding. I liked you from the start. I did feel bad myself and carried some amount of shame because several of these guys took a liking to you and I felt responsible that you split the scene..apology accepted and mine extended. Nice to re-make your acquaintance Joshua Jean…
MG-TOWER I want to play harmonica in this gathering of musical men..I used to go to jam sessions and there would be too many guitar players so I purchased three keys C,D and E it came so natural to me the guys I played with seemed to forget I could sing and play guitar…I can blues it up on a D-harp….
I was bound to be misunderstood, and I laugh at those who misunderstand me. Kind mockery at the well intentioned, but unfettered cruelty towards those would be prison guards of my creative possibilities. This so as to learn as much from misunderstanding as from understanding. Taking pleasure in worthy opponents and making language fluid and flowing like a river yet pointed and precise as a dagger. Contradicts the socialistic purpose of language and makes for a wonderful linguistic dance, A verbal martial art with constant parries that hone the weapon that is the two edged sword of my mouth.
Anonymous42Hey Harpomayson, I just had the mental image of you playing outside, around a fire. My grandfather could play a harmonica and whistle real loud on key, and do bravado.
He walked out of the Mass RMV in 1956 after having a confrontation, WITH. A . C~~~. and NEVER renewed his license to drive. He walked to work until his retirement in the early 70’s. I know that’s where I get my stubbornness from.
I can name a million events, where guys get the screws put to them by some bitter authoritarian control freak c~~~…. I was at a hearing with two control freak c~~~s from town, they always find some abstract non applicable regulation, and then try to shove it up your ass, waste your time , won’t help out, then you get f~~~ed all together, and have to peruse a legal course… This f~~~ing state is atrocious when it comes to regulations that DO NOT LOGICALLY APPLY IN THE REAL WORLD, The Russians never had it as BAD as US under the U.S.S.R. …

No worries my friend, and the responsibility is no me. I sometimes display things in a cynical-metaphorical manner without clarifying or packaging the contents in a more respectable manner. This site has been very accommodating to a individual who is having a hard time processing his anger, I’m not perfect. Reading these forums over the past 6 months has really shook up my world, it prevents me from being as self destructive as I have been in the past. I’ve spent much of my youth self harming and know I don’t know what else to do with myself lol. Even though I was disobedience toward the culture, once given my freedom (MGTOW 1 year) I’m now left in a bit of confusion. Thank you for your support and concern HarpoMason, your a good man~
I’m trained, but not very good. I can play simple rhythm guitar and sing in a couple of keys…I will never be a stand out player, but I do know how music works…

Very cool; most music is a few chords anyways, as long as your having fun with it is all that matters : )
To anybody interested at the beginning of next month (if my obligation aren’t overwhelming) I’m going to start (unless someone else wants to start it) I’m going to start an Open Mic-Jam session forum for people to post their recording to share or collaborate. I’ll do this by either linking my SoundCloud or a YouTube account. Shrugs there are so many talent MGTOW men here, we should Jam, share tracks, and add our own skill to other ppls work etc. With my post will be present chords and sheet music (I believe this site has a graboid image site to post images). Shrugs I’ll figure out some kind of way of bring this into fruition and give it a shot.
*Moderators* If the moderators have any advice on how to post sheetmusic “images” and link audio files to this site, it would be much appreciated. I want to jam!
F~~~ it; Open Mic this weekend 04/18th in the Fun Forum section. Come join!, post your recordings or download a members and add your own track if the Musician gives permission. Jj~

Yep, play Slide guitar mostly. I have a youtube channel under the Sargeslide name, gives slide guitar lessons. Not the best, but done for one of my kids senior projects. Huge Robert Johnson, Ry Cooder, David Lindley, Duane, Lowell George and George Harrison fan. Do a little recording as a hired gun now and then, not much to speak of. Love playing out and about in the bars, been on a few big stages in my time.
Hey Vector, I got a buddy or two down your way, one is Wild Bill Durkin, he does firefighting and own “FretFarm”? I believe it is. I think he still participates in songwriters nights and stuff. He’s a New Yorker, but went to Nashvegas and stayed. Gotta get down to see him one of these days
