Need help – wife is not cooperating with divorce. She’s also used a loophole in the British legal system whereby I get accused of rape (literally, any female can say this in the UK and it will be taken as fact along with your arrest) and she immediately gets granted indefinite leave to remain in the UK (she’s foreign and arrived on a Visa) along with all the benefits, housing, legal aid, complete anonymity etc.

What’s more she’s been so emboldened by the new found-freedom (she’s from a strict 3rd world South Asia country) in the UK and how easily she can manipulate others, that the lies she’s constantly spreading are beyond ridiculous – honestly, some of the s~~~ is paraphrased from the Twilight movies and the police take this seriously! WTF?! It’s gotten to the point now where my life has been a living nightmare for the past entire year… she’s even milking it from feminist organisations/charities and spreading a lot of crap.

These are just cliffnotes*, but I’ve now lost faith in a lot of things. It’s unbelievable how devastating a guy’s life can be from one false accusation of rape/abuse or whatever the hell she’s invented (it started as one thing, then carried on… apparently anything she comes up with is considered new evidence). Yeah welcome to the UK where the citizens get screwed over in favour of immigration/marriage fraudsters.

* I don’t know what the privacy is like on this site so I can’t reveal too much – but if anyone has gone through something similar then I’m anxious to hear because the situation is getting rather serious and desperate now… (legally, that is – I don’t even know how it got so far when it’s just her word against mine in the end? It’s incredible just how one-sided this whole ordeal has been, why is she automatically the victim?!).

This is why we say NAWALT. And Asians imo are some of the worst women out there. Greedy, materialistic, lacking in ability to love, no moral qualms or integrity. Women of other races at least can become sexually attracted to men, Asian women, and this is South and East Asia the same, are completely hung up on money because they don’t have any natural sexual desires.

Sounds like you have a lawyer, but remember they bill by the hour. They will always try to drag it out on both sides and suck you dry of all your money.
You need to emotionally recognize that the person you once saw as your loving wife is now a threat to you freedom and property. Get the anger out of your system in a constructive way that doesn’t involve her; so that you can stay calm, cool, and collected in the same room as her while she lies to try to take your freedom and possessions away.

Look like the situation is already at its worst. I think the only way out is to lawyer up and fight yourself out of this situation legally.

If possible, try contacting Mens rights groups in your area… but I doubt they’ll be of any help. @zuberi-tau is right, you won’t win. That’s the reality of the situation. You WILL suffer losses. Prepare yourself for that.

When its over, try to get the f~~~ away from that area…probably another city or country…and try to live an independent life.

Thanks for your replies all. Unfortunately there’s a bit of a ‘political’ aspect to this from what I’ve discovered – the police need statistics, the CPS head is apparently a hardcore feminist who also wants statistics – so I’m basically being f~~~ed over and made an example of – it doesn’t even matter to them whether I’m cleared of the charges, all that matters is that they have charged and escalated to Crown. The investigating officers are female (these are the ones that bought the Twilight story off my wife and presented it as evidence against me, amongst other things) and genuinely hate our guts – my solicitor and I.

Yes I do have representation, and I will be getting a barrister to represent me at court too – that’s right, this is going to trial… judge, jury and all. The costs are beyond enormous, estimated at least £60K over the course of the next several months. Though I do have financial help from family.

No I can’t leave the country, I have to stick to my bail which involves no contact with her and remaining in the country. I have been sticking to my bail religiously – and you know what? My wife is constantly harassing myself and my family via social media and through other means. It’s so twisted that she can do whatever she likes without consequence and I can’t do anything at all. The police don’t give a s~~~, they’re firmly on her side and I’m to just deal with it.

I’ve been documenting as much as I can since the whole thing started. It’s just absolutely depressing. I no longer trust the police, at least not in this city anymore, I’m finding it difficult to trust women at all – I’ve repeatedly said that I will never marry again, I’d rather die alone – I stop saying that now as family get really worried about me, but that’s just how I feel. I just can’t see where I went wrong – I tried so hard, for once in my life I opened up completely to another human being and loved them, provided for them, did everything in my power to keep them happy and satisfied (it was never enough – I eventually had to dip into overdrafts etc. and work my ass off). Never again. Biggest mistake ever.
