    Sup guys,

Here is a preface to my role at work. I’m a 22 year old office manager at a non-profit company with 2000+ employees. 78% of them are women. Kill me now. I am in-experienced and I got my position out of sheer luck. I have no mortgage, no kids, no car payments, pretty much nothing holding me down. This allows me the freedom to not have to tip-toe around people at work because I’m not really worried about getting fired. I hate my job anyway. I have no plans for climbing the latter of this social service company. I don’t give a f~~~. I’m one of the quiter people at work. I’m always on a mission, so I minimize small talk. I refuse to engage in office gossip as well. However, I say what I want to other people and I call them out on their bulls~~~. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t bully people, but I don’t let other people bully me either. Now that you have a small mental picture of my work situation, allow me to share my story.

I was chilling in my office late in the evening last Friday. I was doing some financial paperwork for one of my clients. The door was open to my office. A 60-ish year old women walked in. I had seen her around, but didn’t know her name. She closed the door behind her. This kind of creeped me out, but she wasn’t physically intimidating. This is how our interaction played out:

Old Hag: Hey yooou. What shirt size do you where?

    Me: Why do you care?

Old Hag: It is for…my son.

    Me: What kind of shirt?

    Old Hag: A button down.

Me: A large or XL depending on the brand.

Old Hag: Why not a medium?

Me: Because that would be too small.

Old Hag: But it would show off your muscles.

Me: Okay…are you messing with me right now? I can’t tell if you are being serious or not.

Old Hag: Your sexy sexy muscles.

Me: Are you coming onto me? This is very uncomfortable.

She walked closer to me. Then flipped her hair back. What the f~~~?

Old Hag: I just think you are really sexy. I love young boys.

Me: Keep our future conversations work appropriate. Please leave now.

    Old Hag: Okay (Quickly leaves)

I went back to work after that and didn’t really think about it. I have a feeling that she was just f~~~ing with me. Or maybe she was trying to fulfill an office fantasy. Whatever the case, it was unsettling yet thought provoking.

If I were a pansy and reported this to the HR department, I might not get very far honestly. If our roles were switched, she would have grounds for a sexual harassment suit, and I could be fired and blacklisted.

I don’t know what her goal really was, but this scenario is perplexing and worrisome. Plenty of women at work play mind-games like this with me every single day. I’m good at witty-comebacks and standing up for myself, when other employees are around, but this 1v1 predicament is very shady. What if she were to get p~~~ed at my rejection and tell people that I tried to rape her or some s~~~ (extreme example, I know). People would likely side in her favor and I would lose my job. This incident just made me consider how fragile a man can be in the workplace and how little power we may actually have.

What are your takes on this?

Next time you see her coming, better have a dictaphone running.

have camera running and get old hag fired. She may think your cum will make her young again. Next time she comes on to you drop an eggy fart and force her to be trapped in there with you, show her your slightly unhinged, or gay, or asexual. You could have a bogey hanging out of your nose too. Also you could be blunt say “Your a sweet old hag but I wouldn’t want to waste your time because I’m out of your league.” Smile and walk away. You should make your boss aware discreetly whats happening too.

I agree with the previous posts. Only a reliable witness or a recording can save you — and your future prospects for employment — if she turns on you. And what’s stopping her?

I happen to know MD’s malpractice insurance carriers tell their MD clients to never be alone with a woman in the examining room. They must always have a female nurse in there with them. (Edit: This applies to male and female MDs alike, by the lights of their insurers.)

Coincidentally, Turd Flinging Monkey’s latest video is about situations like this. He advocates a body cam or sound recorder too. One such recently saved a police officer from false rape charges.

Sounds like you did the right thing, and like the other guys say, try and record this nonsense if it happens again.

Was she even remotely f~~~able? Barbara Eden and Raquel Welch looked pretty good at that age. Or was this grandmother 60?

Yeah, dealt with pretty well given the out of the blue circumstances and your inexperience. If you start to get the red pill now, and just accept it as a better definition of the way the world works you’ll be a very effective manager and can deflect bulls~~~ with minimum of effort or hurt feelings around the place. Makes your life easier. But certainly put some thought into how best to cover your ass, first thing to learn to manage is your risk.

if you can’t record audio and video, at least record dates, times and what was said in a notebook. Courts tend to look on hand written records favorably. A lot of older women think that they are milf or mature and that they’re “in” right now. They think young men want them. I get older women hit on me all the time, in Thailand no less. I can get 20-25 year old girls here and for some reason 50-60 year old women think they have a shot.

She’s a tired old f~~~ who’s husband left her for a man, she more likely than not has not ridden the carousel in about 30 years.
I would suggest you be safe, avoid being alone with this woman and if you must record the audio using your phone. It might sound a little bit paranoid but if things get nasty you will thank yourself for it.

Even if you do get charged for it the cost is trivial compared to a claim of rape. Audio evidence would be a nuclear weapon against a rape claim and the cost of collecting the using that evidence is worth it. This would also apply to any violent crimes the cost of not collecting evidence of your innocent is too high. It might also be worth mentioning that the law is often selectively applied so you may not be charged at all in some situations.

Good job in shooting this fossil down and handling it like a pro. Had the genders been reversed, the man would’ve been reduced to creepy grandpa status.
It may be illegal to record her voice without her consent but video is perfectly legal. I’d seriously invest in some cameras and position them so that every part of your office is being recorded.
This may also be a set up too. The above posters have already covered the various angles she could have been playing. Tread cautiously around everyone there.

Geez, and women call US “creepy” for hitting on and being attracted to younger women.

Of course. Typical female s~~~, they can do that sort of thing and even if you did go to HR, they’d probably fire you because men are evil rapists and all that. They’d do it without question like women can do no wrong and men can do no right. I feel for ya, Keep your job options open, it would be wise to line up another job just in case, and it sounds like you’ve got your life figured out so yeah. Also, find a job you like, with no women 😀

Thanks Atton! (pun intended) I’ll start using the voice recorder on my phone just in case.

You may be right, it depends on the state. One should know their own local laws concerning this. BTW, in Texas such a recording would not be illegal.

    old office manager

What are your takes on this?

It may be nothing, but you likely do want to inform HR of the situation without dropping any names and informing them you were able to handle it. Inform them that you don’t feel sexually harassed, but you want to inform them in the event in the future there is some form of retaliation because you dropped her like she was Medusa. Like a real stone cold n~~~~.

What would concern me is you haven’t exactly painted a picture of a great office environment so if she tried to pull the moves on you and you responded she could have claimed sexual harassment on you.

You should protect yourself because even if your job sucks, being fired and fighting for unemployment check is a bitch and sucks to put that history s~~~ on your resume.

After a year on the job as a manager, start looking for another job.

I cannot tell what she is having in mind since i am not a wasnt there, but her modus does not look promising at all.
