Occaisionally think about how my genes got here, via struggle and survival from the dawn of humanity.

All my ancestors went through their struggles to survive and make a life for their kids, to pass on the line.

It’s not a bad line, Nordic I think, Blond, tall, Blue eyed. It ends with me.

All their struggles in vain. I end the line.

Me. I’m It, the final version.

What gives me the right to throw away this DNA? When I think what unimaginable hardships they put up with in pre history to continue their line, and I bail due to social constraints on my freedom in a Gynocentric world.

Doesn’t compare with fighting off a Raptor, or enduring Famine, Ice Age, Plague, War, Slavery.

One day I will have to stand before these forebears in the Afterlife and explain why I quit the race.

Will they see my perspective, or Dam me for betraying their struggle for life and progeny?

    What do you think?

I think they have many other descendants besides you who are more than happy to continue the line.

Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.

    Greg,

Interesting thoughts. I have not had children either so the portion of my family’s genes that I have end here with me. However, I do have brothers and sisters that all have had children so the family line is not dead I suppose. But, I don’t feel like I’m letting my ancestors down. I think with the world the way it is that it might not be the best thing to bring additional mouths to feed in the world. And with females the way they are there now is no guarantee that the other side of the gene contribution may be capable of properly raising offspring. My own ex aborted our children (3) so that ended it anyway without my permission. Anyway, with the above somewhat rambling answer, I would say that I wouldn’t worry about it personally. Another thought is what about those that were killed in the myriad of wars in our history that were childless? Fate took their chance away from them.

There’s plenty of people on the planet.
You can wait until your older like me and start a “family “..
Just be ready for the child support.
And maybe not seeing the kids much. .
So yes , you can still pass on your genes..
But be aware of the price of doing it.
    Financial
    Emotional
    Etc. .

Everything in your body was once an entity in and of itself. Mitochondria that exist within every cell of our bodies were once independent organisms. We have bacteria living in our intestines killing other harmful bacteria.

The thoughts you are having are biological programming. CONFORM, REPRODUCE, CONFORM, REPRODUCE.

Your ancestors were also savage, probably murderers and rapists. Does that mean your DNA is tainted?

No your DNA is your DNA, and that is it. The properties you are adding to it are a figment of your imagination.

Consider it an act of self destruction for the sake of reproduction.

I like your question Greg. I feel/think the same. This is why we searched for NAWALTs.

I am more along the lines of thinking if I had any possessions passed down to me that I would find a worthy heir for those items. Not someone that eventually screwed me over due to a one night stand.

Or maybe your ancestors look down on each successive generation in dismay wishing somebody would stop their line whilst it is still proud, before it ends up in the gutter with the rest of humanity.

I am half English and back in the sixties used to think I was amongst the luckiest people in the world to have been born in the top country.
Nowadays it hurts my heart to see how we have let “them” destroy this country which I now consider something to be ashamed of.

At least I am half Prussian so I can be proud of being a son of such a fine and upstanding country that was ended whilst it was still such.

Better to die young I think.

You can’t blame yourself for not wanting to be with a filthy creature and have babies with her. I’m sure your ancestors fully agree if they’re watching.

You really have to dial up NFG knob before you can begin to even start thinking like me!

This big rock we live on will some day be lifeless. Not a living f~~~ing thing!

How does it matter where you throw in the towel and just live, live, live, and let dead, die, die?

I believe this is something genetic, I have never in my life wanted children yet almost all my male friends do.

If I lived in pre-history I would be the man that would f~~~ 100 different women and ditch them all.

Some men just have it in them to be a parent.

    Thanks for your thoughts guys.

From Hardline MgTower to the Idealistic Jaque, with a mix of practicality and logic from other voices.

Just seems a shame that I’ve been muscled out of the gene pool by people who I wouldn’t trust to raise a Dog let alone a child. It’s Idiocracy in real life playing out. Guess I won’t care when I’m gone.

I like the Sperm Donor Idea from “He who says No”. Kinda’ worried about back dated child support in 18 years time though. Also I don’t get to have a say in how my child would be raised.

Still kinda’ feel I let the side down, but this is the hand I was dealt. If I got it wrong, I’ll just have to come back and re-play the level.

    Or get deleted from existence.

All of my ancestors also came from Scandinavia. On my Grandmother’s side all of her early relatives arrived on sailing ships crossing the north Atlantic from Skreia, Lake Mjosa region several generations ago. On my Grandfather’s side all of his relatives arrived even earlier from Telemark region of Norway. Despite all they went through in their lives and the difficult journeys these ancestors all took .. I don’t want to pass on my personal traits or genetics to anyone .. and have never even seriously considered it. I will be joyfully single forever and have no desire to change anything, that’s just the way it is .. no unfulfilled desires or regrets of any kind following this path. I just function better alone.

PRIDE. The hurt of pride being hurt. I come from good, but it is so rare to find, impossible almost. I’ve stopped the search. NFG is almost impossible for me. I do care. I want what won’t be.

What happened to you is what I most fear. I cannot give that power away. Be it by her hand or state implemented. I am sorry for your loss man. I cannot imagine.

I wonder if a single guy can adopt? I know you can sponsor kids in other countries but they’re not legally yours. I’m sure the Gov’t has it arranged that to adopt a kid there has to be two parents.
I think given the current state of affairs concerning relationships and general world stability, your ancestors probably wouldn’t blame you one bit.

Lifes a bitch, but you don't have to marry one!
