I’m trying to post something and i can’t. Whenever i click “submit” the page refreshes and the post is gone.

I have tried posting “asdasdasd” and it posted ok, but then i went to edit the “asdasd” post with the text i want to post, and it disapeared again.

OK that works. Have assigned you a new temporary password so that i could test it and will email you now. When you log in next, please change your password to something only you know. Also keep in mind, if you are logged in, you see the very latest posts… if you are NOT logged in, you see only what us in cache memory since the last user joined the site. This is to serve up pages much faster to visitors & non-members.

@keymaster: Not sure if this is the right place to report a technical problem, but here it is. I’m having difficulties with the MGTOW site suddenly and without warning kicking me out. It even closes the browser window I’m using to access MGTOW. This is not the first time this has happened but it’s particularly bad today. I couldn’t even get to the home page…I had to go to Forums directly from Google. No other web site does this. Is this a problem with my iPhone or is it the MGTOW site or some sort of compatibility problem or something more sinister? It doesn’t matter what I’m doing…trying to log in, trying to browse forum topics, reading a post, or replying to a post…it just inexplicably shuts me down. The latter is particularly annoying as I’m a long winded bastard and losing ten minutes of writing irks me to no end. HELP!

There doesn’t seem to be any problem with your user at all. We HAVE warned everyone at the top of the forums pages that we are working on some forum enhancements and WE DONT THINK THERE WILL BE A NEED TO REBOOT or pause service, but we have had to a few times. It’s like a freeway, we have to work while it’s still running, but some people will get a stop sign… so we ask you to please keep that in mind.

In any case… PLEASE CARRY ON AS NORMAL and let us know by replying to this email if you experience any further problems which are out of the ordinary.

Log back into your account using your email and the password I just mailed to you…;;and change it to something private for you. We do not know anybody’s password but we created a temporary one to test your account.

I play a lot of online poker and can read and predict people in that setting pretty well..This is only the second site I have really participated in so I am new to the concept of determining a participants gender from reading their text.. A few suspicions I have about new members:

1.An intro  where more than two new arrivals pop into that intro and reply and thumb each other up.

2.someone who joins and without lurking long enough to have read much, but starts a half dozen topics at once..

3. the obvious and one most often trapped and booted.. the waist no time telling us we are wrong..

I can see easy enough trolls don’t come in here alone. They try and establish themselves by helping each other look legit..The thumbs up for most of us men don’t mean much to us anyways,but to a new group of trolls they would think differently and try to thumb each other up quickly, for this reason I seldom up-vote new members until I have read a few topics and reply they post.. I know you more experienced menbers know better than I the tactics trolls use.Please add any more that I missed so I may be more able to spot these tactics and sound the alert more Quickly.Thank you.

The definition of MGTOW .  If some of you have not heard I managed to publish it three times on urban dictionary.com  I up-vote all three once a day,  every day. I noticed 6 down-votes today.. so I have taken to down-voting all the others  1. by blue bastard=down  2. by trooper555=down 3. by mgtow for life=down  4th  5th  6th all copied and pasted from this site=up-vote  Hoping everyone here will spread the word and push our definitions to the top of the page….

@diygkas Very delayed in getting back to you on this… and I can’t explain it, although I did fix it for you.

Your post “any ideas”? (above) I tried to add the video to by editing your post…. but it went into spam. Im wondering if the video is “flagged” as spam out there somewhere by someone who doesn’t want it getting out. Because the filter we use uses a remote service to “guess” what is spam. It may make an error and be too strict on occasion, but there is no reason for that video to be “spam” with a million+ views. So it’s all I can think of, because it JUST WOULDN’T ALLOW IT.

So I added it again…. and it went into spam again. (!!) weird.
To solve the problem I force-unspammed it and you will see it display above.

@harpomason… if you have not started a dedicated topic for this (in the central forum), please feel free to do so with a detailed simple explanation for other members so they understand clearly. If you start the topic, let me know (or wait until I notice) and I will make it “super sticky” so it pushes it to the front and nobody will miss it. We can also do a newsletter for this like wee talked about. We have not sent one out yet, but this can be part of it, and will reach hundreds / thousands. We’re planning on one for the end of the month to celebrate our upcoming one year anniversary here.
