I was thinking along the lines of improvement of the forum, saw few nice suggestions while browsing but did not save them (they got buried).

It would be useful if you run into one of them to put the link in this thread.

Sure changes take time but these suggestions if valid and approved by management could se the light of the day.

    @keymaster

Just thought you should know, the splash screen isn’t clearing on my browser, forcing me to load the forum pages twice to clear it and see the forums. This has been going on for a few weeks, but since it’s just a minor inconvenience I haven’t mentioned it before now while looking for causes on my end.

Holy s~~~ it’s terrific to see you visit! @primus_pilus!

Thanks. Can you explain with detailed specifics – with steps? You’re talking about the homepage splash? How does that affect the link to the forums or ability to see them? Just trying to understand exactly.

WAIT!! I think I just realized . . .by “splash”, you mean the “animated curtain” that opens when you click on a forum the first time. It’s meant to only appear ONCE when you enter a new forum. I think I know what the problem may be with that.

Trolls and fighting members spam the hell out of our forum

Yes , returning ( today and this weekend ) to re-acclimate to what’s been going on and doing a lot of reading.

I have an idea on how to disable these endless s~~~ threads at the source, without any active censorship.

Please write and elaborate on that if you haven’t already.

( Still have a holiday backlog of messages but it’s getting smaller. Addressing the oldest first. But will be very interested in hearing it. PS. Will message you directly in the next day or two. Have a lot of s~~~ to do here today and tomorrow. )

That’s the one. Instead of opening it just sits there. This behavior started a while back when you were working on the site, and since it’s more of a quirk than an inconvenience I figured it would get fixed eventually. I’m still not entirely certain if the root cause is a change in your code or one of the forced update to my browser. Either way, it’s no big deal. It’s just something I thought you might not be aware of.

Everything is looking great! Theme change [(Day to Night)desktop] could be a little more smooth, it tends to log me out. The site is coming together. Great Job Development team! The Mobile Conversion is running supper smooth on my end!

Well, while this topic is here I will say this site from a design standpoint is downright excellent.

    As far as support? Impeccable.

I noticed the change on the forum typography (font) as well on some buttons and its colors, and on the layout in general.
I like it, it is rendering far better on bigger screens.
Also after the update the forum feel like its loading much faster, I didn’t measure it before but I noticed that it has improved.

Thank you KM for always improving this website for us, you did an excellent job !!

Thanks for your comment Solid. I’ll be posting a “schedule” for everyone ( before end of day today ) so you can see our upcoming planned checklist of s~~~ to do.

I noticed the change on the forum typography (font) as well on some buttons and its colors, and on the layout in general. I like it, it is rendering far better on bigger screens.

Good. Collapsing better on mobile and tablets.
The Architecture and scaffolding is less visible to everyone but scaling up ( and scaling down ) is far improved.

We’re going all the way to XXL (5k) displays for a fluid full-screen layout. Take this page in your browser and make it as narrow as you can, then expand it as wide as you can and you’ll see what’s going on. Previously it wasn’t really right.

The FONT (text) is easier to read, but still not quite perfect.
It also resizes now on mobile.

Also after the update the forum feel like its loading much faster, I didn’t measure it before but I noticed that it has improved.

Thank you for noticing. It’s much faster now, with far fewer dependencies. It’s been done properly from the ground up. We even have a “night” and “dashboard” theme(s) with backlighting for the forums coming ASAP.

Thank you KM for always improving this website for us, you did an excellent job !!

Very grateful!! Have an excellent weekend.

I am so glad our KM was not abducted by aliens or force married to Kate Smurfwaite.

In July of 2018, this honey pot forum was sold out to an unidentified NPC sock puppet and troll organization. Most independent thinkers and writers migrated to other MGTOW forums as a result of the never-ending infighting and deliberate trouble starting caused by members who were given "carte blanche" by the admin to do whatever they want. Before my departure, I only left a few thousand cat pics here to comfort and ridicule the feminist owners who now run this place. Their background agenda is to make MGTOW look like a club of losers the public eye. And during the course of 2019, they actually managed to destroy almost all other MGTOW venues as well. Here is the truth about "theindependentman.org" aka "TIM" which was created as an extended workbench to further divide the community. When you register, they install a spyware Zombie cookie on your browser that does all kinds of things the user does not know of: http://www.filedropper.com/essay-on-the-removal-of-malware-cookies-used-by-tim

KM, I have suggestion to make:

We need distinguishable / unique names for deleted “anonymous” avatars so the existing threads remain readable and intelligible. Once you have more than 2 “anonymous” posters in there, you no longer know who is quoting who and who is referring to whom.

Even if it’s only a simple number after the “Anonymous”…

I sometimes can only tell by the writing style who is who.

Or just giving the deleted account to a “shadow being” admin-ed by you. Meaning keeping some distinguishable Avatar picture and a fantasy name not connected to the original poster. And an empty “generic” profile stating that the member is no longer active and reachable.

So our content in the forums does not look dead and vacated. These dead avatars make things look like a graveyard.

And this way, no adversary will ever be able to see (and estimate) how many members have left, moved on and are no longer “on the force”.

Of course, this all only applies to “big” posters leaving the forums. Like 500+ replies created. And maybe give a real troll a name referring to “it” having been a real troll.
