It’s good you recognize the battle is not over. I been off the plantation 2 years and there is an adjustment period that took me longer than a year. Fortunate, when it got really bad for me mentally I found this site and that set my mind in the right direction.

I tried to do this to get back at her. Didn’t work.
But once I made myself #1 all these good things started happening.
I look back at it now and honestly DGAF about her.

Its weird, but I think I was accumulating “stuff” to fill a void that was caused by a s~~~ty ass marriage and subsequent unhappiness. I really don’t give a s~~~ about the things, but good point – I’ll let her think I do and dole them out to her when I need leverage.
