I was just reading Old Bill’s awesome post about his recent MGTOW moment, found here:
And it reminded me of something that happened to me over the weekend.
I went over to my parent’s recently to see if I could borrow my dad’s truck, and to see if he wanted to come pick up a piece of equipment I bought for my wood shop that wouldn’t fit in my car that I had special ordered. He had just gotten back home from going to the exact store I was going to with my mom, so I wasn’t surprised he immediately agreed to come along.
We spent a good while wandering through the store and talking about some of the wood working and construction side projects we have been working on. I bought a couple things that he needed since I was basically borrowing his truck, that apparently he didn’t want to have to justify buying while he was just at the store with my mom. Like some sandpaper, and hardware for a piece he was working on.
When we got to the checkout, the female cashier recognized that we were father and son. He is 6′ 4″, and I am even taller so it is kinda obvious, but well spotted on her part. While I was swiping my credit card and bagging the stuff we bought inside the store, my dad was talking to the cashier, saying yes we were father/son.
Then my married for 45+ years, almost 70 year old dad, who I’m pretty sure has never heard about MGTOW says about me: “He’s not old enough to be ornery like me, then again he’s not married so maybe he will never will be.”
I don’t remember the last time I broke out laughing out loud in public like that. I had finished up, had my receipt, was walking out with my transaction done, and I wasn’t having anything else to do with that female.
You would think my dad would be the poster child for blue pill society, and even he sees the result of me getting married would be me being miserable like he is to some extent. I would point out MGTOW to him, but at this point of his life, in the state of health he is in, the shock might actually kill him.
The awakening has begun, in the minds of old and young alike; you will be the priviledged spectator, safe behind the borders of destruction, watching the utter destruction of the world as we know it.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
I hear this too from my father once and from another father of a family.
Doesn’t this all lead only to a one way road of a destructive pattern? You can sense it with your manstincts.
The fire is hot, so youcanwill get burned if you are not heeding these signs."We are free to follow our own path. There are those who will take that freedom from us, and too many of you gladly give it. But it is our ability to choose – whatever you think is true – that makes us human. There is no book or teacher to give you the answers, to show you the path. Choose your own way! Do not follow me, or anyone else."
Catch a married man in an unguarded moment. Is that a happy look on his face?
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
